Hi didn't go for it earlier because he's 39 years old.gregregegg wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 17:56 Jai wins, solid, slow start, war late, hard to see why briedis didn’t go harder earlier.
I want to see both these guys go to heavyweight.
But for Jai I would also like to see him go for undisputed cruiser.
Unify or heavy.

Jai don’t want anymore of that. He showed his mettle tonight, but heavyweight looks a step too far

It’s their job. The main focus should be moneyMasterG wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 17:56 Any boxer who fights in Saudi is only interested in money. They obviously aren't interested in the fans as it clearly shows that there is absolutely no atmosphere in this stadium. Everyone is sat on their hands and looking bored as washing on a washing line. The the main event could fill Wembley stadium two times over and the atmosphere would absolutely be electric, not only that how much economy would that give to the London area and businesses around Wembley stadium?

I know what you are saying but it's us British fans that have put them where they are, when they were novices and where begging fans to buy tickets from them we supported them and bought their tickets. They have now sold out to the Saudis and don't give a s*** about British fans anymore. It's not just British fans who miss out it's all the businesses in this country that could benefit from extra finance from these events. Not only that but you have to remember we live in a world where people are fighting against each other and there are many unscrupulous people who would love to see the United Kingdom fall.smiling assassin wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 18:00It’s their job. So, now it's time to determine, whether it's Pussyk or Poosyk.

Money is the reason why most of the best fights never get made, or get made too late. To paraphrase Homer Simpson, it's the cause, and solution, to all of boxing's problems.smiling assassin wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 18:00It’s their job. Lads, is the main event likely to start in 15 minutes, or an hour?
Out and about now and dont want to miss the start. Would appreciate a rough idea when its likely to start.

I get you mate and agree to a point but these cards the Saudis are putting on are great. frank and Eddie couldn’t put them on over here as the money isn’t there. This Saudi show must run at a lossMasterG wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 18:02I know what you are saying but it's us British fans that have put them where they are, when they were novices and where begging fans to buy tickets from them we supported them and bought their tickets. 116-112 Opetaia as well, I thought he swept the first 6 rounds but wasn't dominating Briedis the way I thought he would, he was keeping it simple with the straight left to the body, Briedis is a cagey dude and made Opetaia miss a lot and catch him in between punches but when Opetaia burst his nose in the middle rounds it looked like he might be getting to Briedis but it was Briedis who came in strong hurt Opetaia and it became a struggle to the finish, his early work ensuring the win but Briedis is some man, if he'd got to work earlier he might have got something
