Incorrect record
Incorrect record
So I checked out my boxrec as I used to box amateur. I had 7 bouts and won all but my boxrec says I'm 0-0-0 l. Any reason why????
Re: Incorrect record
BoxRec only tracks professional boxing records, so your amateur bouts likely aren't included. Amateur records are usually kept by national or regional boxing organizations, not BoxRec.

Re: Incorrect record
it's not like any amateur boxing match happens and then magically appears in boxrec. it has to get there somehow, and the reporting network for am boxing isnt nearly as thorough as for the pro records. the am records in boxrec are mostly from open national and international events at this point, and with only 7 fights its unlikely you boxed in any of those id think
do you have a user id at all? you'll need to provide details on your bouts too - date, name of opponent, location, etc.

Re: Incorrect record
Most likely, BoxRec does not include records from amateur fights because it only keeps track of professional boxing records. Boxrec doesn't arise out of nowhere after an amateur boxing contest.
