They fight in a cage or sometimes a ring, with mma gloves, under modified Muay Thai rules. For big money. The promotion is based in Singapore, a while back I met up with a forum legend in Bangkok to watch a big show from ringside. It was awesome :salut:

that was a hell of a quick / sneaky ko, had to watch again to see it was the elbow. i boxed for a bit but would never want to compete in muay thai, so many different ways to get brutalized
