That's why he is called 'The Chosen One'—chosen to be an easy payday.

I don't think I know anyone that knows Canelo is fighting this weekend. I guess none of them are his main target market for this one but how times have changed...

Hello boxing fans! I’d like to share with you a couple of articles I’ve written about Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
In this one, I analyzed how the management of his career and the selection of opponents have changed over time for the Mexican boxer:
https://boxepunch.com/en/top-en/point-o ... rful-king/
In this other one, I tried to predict the dynamics of the upcoming fight on Saturday:
https://boxepunch.com/en/columns/fight- ... erlanga-2/
As for the pay-per-view cost, we are definitely luckier here in Italy compared to American boxing fans: for us, watching the event will only cost 20 Euros.

I reached out to Colombian boxer Roamer Alexis Angulo, who fought against Berlanga in June 2022, losing on points. I asked him for his opinions about the qualities of the "Chosen One" and for a prediction for the fight. Here are his answers:

Another Yldirim or Rocky Fielding type of opponent. Berlanga's best wins were Quigley UD and Steve Rolls UD lol
