ya she has been pampered indeed in her career, given silver spoon from day 1
tbf though, mental health goes far beyond boxing. tbf #2 though - people throw around mental health as an exuse/pity me move so much tese days. but if she was actually in a mental hospital that is some serious stuff

Whilst I have sympathy for anyone that’s been to a mental health hospital she’s always been someone that has seemingly blamed other people for things.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑18 Oct 2024, 19:05 ya she has been pampered indeed in her career, given silver spoon from day 1

I don’t know the contracted weight for her fight tonight but she weighed 128lbs. 4lbs more than her opponent.

Didn't she lose her title by not making the weight ?maverick23 wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 04:33Whilst I have sympathy for anyone that’s been to a mental health hospital she’s always been someone that has seemingly blamed other people for things.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑18 Oct 2024, 19:05 ya she has been pampered indeed in her career, given silver spoon from day 1

I know she missed weight previously and blamed it on her period. Think it was for a world title fight but not certain.

Could end up being a poor night, esp if Azim and Yarde win early
Let's see what happens in the Brit title fight
,McKinson is good and difficult to beat but not a fun watch

It says on Boxxers running order that Azeez/Edmondson is after main event, strange

I'm sure I saw a poster with that as the main event. If that's the case, it's a competitive fight after (what I think is going to be) a one sided blow out.handsofstone wrote: ↑19 Oct 2024, 10:58 It says on Boxxers running order that Azeez/Edmondson is after main event, strange

I had a feeling she might lose with the time off and the change of promoters.

Fran Hennessy on now.
I thought the undercard was starting at 5pm so I’ve missed Shannon Courtenay.
As Keith said Shannon was a loss waiting to happen but when I saw her opponent 4lbs lighter I couldn’t bring myself to bet on the opponent. I’ve got some money on Fran to lose here tho. I’m sure the dancing to the ring in front of 5 fans will balance it out tho.

Fran's got Jon Pegg in her corner, you know you'll get looked after with Jon in your team
