Jimmy Ellis vs. James J. Braddock

Post by scorpio83 »

15 Rounds Heavyweight Bout

Would Ellis land more jabs than Braddock and nailing him with right hands and combinations to take a decision or would the Cinderella Man do vice versa to take a decision? What do you guys think and who do you got?

I think Jim Braddock is one of the all time weakest Heavyweight Champions ever, and there's probably 300 to 400 or more Champions and Contenders you could name that could've and would've beaten him. Jimmy Ellis is one of 'em as long as you're talking about the one from the 1970's, and not the white guy named Jimmy Ellis that fought George Foreman in the late 80's

Yes, I was talking about the former WBA Heavyweight Champion Jimmy Ellis which I forgot to mentioned.
