Did not expect Bobby to be submitted easily like that, darn.
Ankalaev is delusional if he thinks he can just rush in on Pereira like he did yesterday against Rakic. If he does he's going to be in for a rude awakening. Pereira has a 4 inch reach advantage on him.
Useless from him to show he can do it on the ground, while only his ground game will do it against Pereira, yes

Clumsy, awkward debut by De Ridder in UFC, struggling to keep Meerschaert down. A win is still a win, but with this outlook...

Great debut by Mansur instead.

Jones is tapped

Started and finished and imaginary bit of animosity between him and stipe

Anyone reckon stipe might get the huge upset? :box:

I can't see it.

Unfortunately, neither can I. Stipe is simply too old. I doubt Jones will take on the real challenge to his title, Tom Aspinall, as he has repeatedly denigrated him and said he isn't worthy of a title shot because he believes he hasn't beat anyone of note to merit that title shot. That shows to me that he feels Tom is a real threat to him. I wouldn't be surprised if after tonight Jones relinquishes the Heavyweight belt and drops back down to Light Heavyweight to target a fight with Pereira.

I’ve not been a TNT subscriber for a while so am losing touch a bit. PPV is a piss take though given the situation with Aspinall. It’s not an amazing card; Nickal v Craig is very interesting and Oleviera v Chandler II looks tasty due to their first fight. But it’s not a can’t miss event.

Surely Jones invites Alex up to heavyweight if he sees off Stipe? Can’t see chubby Jon heading back to 205.

I’ve slightly warmed to Miocic over the past few days, his chin has had a rest and he looks as up for it as anyone could hope for.

Over the years most Jon Jones cards have always been pretty thin below the co-main event. Not sure why, i guess his name alone sells a certain number of ppvs from the get go. It was generally the same with McGregor cards too.

Ive always liked Stipe. Dont think you could ask for a more authentic bloke. He was an entertaining fighter, was always in shape and wore his heart on his sleeve.

Jon trying to act the humble good guy is just fornicating weird. All the best to him if he has turned over a new leaf. But he certainly comes across like he is putting on a poor thinly veiled act.

Jon Jones is incredible.
What a personality I was really impressed.

Charles Oliveira vs. Michael Chandler
An almost movie like fight, the intensity of Oliveira's ground game and the final round back flips blew the roof off the house.
One of those you had to be there moments, great fight.

He's been doing that his whole career so it isn't surprising.

THE CHAMP IS HERE and Tom Aspinall all of a sudden doesn't look like the biggest threat anymore

Michael Chandler could be like the greatest fighter ever if he had head movement and better defense, this time he went to the distance and got to slam Charles on his back, but was schooled throughout

Bo Nickal bombed against Bearjew, both not engaging on the ground and doing some light sparring on feet. Good showing by Ruffy

There’s been no talk of jail time.

Not surprised.

It’s a civil court. He can’t be sent to jail.

Groping really, and being a civil case, it resulted into a heavy (not so much for him) fine. Still, it's don't grounding how he hasn't done one day of jail despite putting so much people's lives at risk

Not a great card last night except for Pantoja's masterclass. The Cannibal saved that card with an electrifying display. Every other fight was meh!

Asakura was excited to be there but the experience and skills gap was all for Pantoja. Nevertheless, I am interested in Kai getting to acclimatize in UFC and growing.

Great win by Shavkat, Ian had the low-kicks, and his reach was doing some damage, also blocked some takedowns and managed to do well on the ground, but ultimately Shav's stamina and ground control dominated the opponent. Great technical bout, and now the title bout is guaranteed.

Volkov deserved to win, the rest of the card wasn't PPV material.

At a glance, i thought it was a pretty stacked card. In retrospect probably shouldve known better, Pantoja's performance was amazing. Hoped for something a bit more definitive with Rak/Garry, but it was hard fought and these stalemates happen when guys of certain skill/rank/age meet at the same crossroads.

Have no idea what Kron Gracie is even doing. I can understand UFC just using him for his name. Been givien the luxery of cherry picked opponents and has shown absolutely zero legitimate interest in fighting. Id say he's doing it for the paycheck, but cant imagine he's getting paid much either.

Shit going down with Tim Kennedy the last few days. Not sure the of the exact details.

Apparently some military guys did a podcast doing a deep dive into Kennedy, dubunking a bunch wild of claims and military achievements Kennedy had made in his book and speaking publicly over the years.

Kennedy made a response video, which i saw, not knowing what had happened.

Apparently he didnt address, or clear up, any of the serious allegations. He then complained to YT and got an 18+ age restriction slapped on the podcast about him. This sent the military/special forces/ green beret ect. youtubers into a frenzy and he seems to be at the bottom of a massive pile on at the moment.
