Yurii Zakharieiev makes pro debut on December 14th (elite Ukrainian amateur)

Yurii Zakharieiev, Ukraine’s youngest world boxing champion, is set to make his professional debut on December 14 at the Stereo Plaza in a tournament organized by Top Boxing Generation.

Zakharieiev will face former world title challenger Joel Julio (39-20, 33 KOs) from Colombia.

In 2021, Zakharieiev claimed victory at the World Boxing Championships, securing a gold medal in the 71 kg weight category. At just 19 years old, he became Ukraine's youngest world boxing champion, breaking Vasyl Lomachenko's record set at the age of 21.
