Re: Brock Jarvis
I can’t believe that this young bloke is fighting tonight at 147, some 30 pounds more than he was 4-5 years ago.
What seriously credentialed bantam (even feather) ever did that.
He went to lightweight and survived a serious scare in America.
He goes to jnr welter and gets put to sleep by the first punch he wears.
And now they are campaigning him at 147, just disgraceful management of a once decent prospect.
The opponent tonight is unknown to me, but Brocks career will be finished within 18 months. A bad knockout is coming his way if he doesn’t get 20 or so pounds off

yes i agree with les norton
was an entertaining fight tonight brock was hurt in the second but he rallied back well but geez he gets hit alot have to fix that up if he will go any further
good to watch though blokes with great offense and suspect chins are always fun to watch
good luck to him

Jarvis has no future at all-way too limited.

Re: Brock Jarvis
problem for brock is that he has an easy to hit, aggressive style that needs a very good chin in able to support it. for him to impose his strength he needs to be able to go through 2 to give 1 for a bit, and unfortunetly for him he gets hurt way too easily to do that at a high level

Re: Brock Jarvis
I feel like brock learnt to fight at <118lb and could get hit. but now he has flown through the weights he is getting in with guys that can crack.
Liam parrow was a silly match up and i made good money betting on that....
brocks a solid little unit but i dont think he needs to be eying 130 mabey 135. Still dont think he can make true world levle.. but id love to see him stay in boxing taking the right fights. which i think is domestic for a while.
-Liam wilson
-Paul Flemming
-jackson england
-@135 kambosos is always an option (although too much, its more a cash out option if he gets back on a run.)
-Garside in a couple years also for an aus main event.
all decent fights.

That can’t be true. He couldent get that heavy if he tried…. If he was going to go for for cash ge would at least stop by at 154 to get knocked by nikita…
Re: Brock Jarvis
Returns tomorrow as a Middleweight apparently.
Why? I'd love to see him do well. I've been following Brock since early days but this seems like madness.
His opponent tomorrow turned pro back in 2015 weighing 159 1/4 pounds. Jarvis turned pro later that same year weighing 115 3/4.
Best of luck to him but this just seems weird.

Re: Brock Jarvis
Easy win to Jarvis whose body punching wore his opponent down before the ref stepped and waved it off.
Brock called out the Tszyus in anticipation for 2025.

Re: Brock Jarvis
How about Brock fights Zerafa, gets exposed by a guy who’d be destroyed by both tszyu lads.
Why was the fight stopped - and so quickly. Yes it was a body punch that hurt his opponent but not a stoppage punch.

Re: Brock Jarvis
Firstly Brock needed to go up in weight , he was a typical Fenech fighter , starved and weight drained , hoping to do what Jeff done , and thats boil down to nothing and retain your strenght , along with jeffs ability to get him the right fights , he ended up with a good record , but just like jeff when he put on the weight he got stopped ,
Middleweight though Naaw , no way , he looked like he's been hitting the weights , certainly was'nt hitting hard enough to bother decent fighters , he was in front by a country mile but jeez it was a soft stoppage , when considering he had been using his opponent has a moving punch bag he should of stopped him proper without the refs help .
Can't see him going places , he needs to be careful what he wishes for he just might get it ,
Also young prospect Callum Peters , what a crock of shite , i know its gonna be hard to match him , but christ save the money spent on that shite and put it towards a decent opponent who will last more than the first punch , could be nerves could be a lot of things but watching that young fella on a few occasions i've always said he's too easy to it , and last night his opponent who i can only discribe has NOT a boxer , dragged in on a day or so's notice , actually closed his eyes , looked down threw a couple and LANDED . Callum needs better opponents and a better defence then he may do well , but to be honest what i see now is 20 soft fights , 20 wins and get a shot at one bige money fight , its all rinse and repeat , shame because just like Opetai Smith has potential

Re: Brock Jarvis
Here's a report & also a little video of them announcing him the winner. Looks pretty solid. Probably wants to be at 154.
Who knows.... maybe they'll sell out a stadium with Tim v Zerafa & Nikita v Jarvis.
Best of luck to them all. Making money & getting out of the game relatively unscathed is what it's all about.
