No. There's loads, literally thousands of the cheapest seats available. The lower tier is sold out.MasterG wrote: ↑14 Apr 2025, 07:54What I can see is that there are high end tickets available in different areas, and some of the £500 ones available. Generally most of the lower option and what I'm guessing, what the maximum amount the general working boxing fan would pay are almost gone.

It was meant to encourage panic buying in case they missed out but backfired as not enough were bothered

Did he address the issue of drug cheating

Considering Froch considers himself as a straight shooter it was disappointing.

I sort of changed my opinion and started watching the odd clip of him talking about fights and fighters.
But yeah, this: really was so disappointing.
I am betting there was a few "no-go" clauses signed up before the interview was granted, and one of those had to be about Peds.

CHRIS EUBANK JR'S £100K FINE COULD BE INCREASED AFTER APPEAL LAUNCHED, HEARING IN JUNE
Chris Eubank Jr may yet have his £100,000 fine for slapping Conor Benn with an egg increased after launching an appeal against the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) to have the punishment revoked.
Eubank Jr (34-3. 25 KOs) made headlines back in February when he pulled an egg from his pocket at the Manchester press conference for his fight with Benn (23-0, 14 KOs) and slapped it into his opponent's face, causing an on-stage melee which had to be dispersed by security.
The pair will clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week on April 26 in what will be Ring Magazine's first ever boxing event in association with SNK Games, creators of FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves - live on DAZN PPV.
After Eubank Jr's egg stunt, he was fined £100k by the BBBofC after breaching regulation 25 (misconduct) of the board's rules.
The 35-year-old said, in an interview with The Ring, that he was baffled at the sum he was asked to shell out, suggesting that other fighters had done worse and been fined less.
Eubank Jr has moved forward with an appeal process, but the BBBofC's General Secretary Robert Smith says if he loses, the fine could be increased.
“There will be an appeal taking place,” Smith told talkSPORT. “So that fine could be reduced, or it could be increased.
“It goes in front of a completely independent [panel of] appeal stewards. Although they’re the BBBofC appeal stewards, they’re not the Board.
“[The hearing is in] June. [The appeal stewards] will make a decision there, [based] on Mr. Eubank’s argument that the fine was too heavy.
“I believe that the fine was about right.”
Eubank Jr and Benn were originally supposed to fight in October 2022 but the clash was cancelled after the latter failed two drug tests, conducted by Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), for the banned substance Clomifene, a fertility drug.
The use of an egg from Eubank Jr was a nod to the suggestion from the WBC that Benn's failed tests, which he has now been cleared of, was as a result of an over-consumption of eggs.

The fine isn’t being deducted from his purse is it?
I haven’t read that. I just assumed it’s a standard fine he has to pay from himself.
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | PPV - 26 April 2025
That's what I'd do. No way would I pay it.
Miller's behaviour was far worse IMO.

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | PPV - 26 April 2025
Eubank Sr on the upcoming fight between his son and Conor Benn
“These promoters have no care for boxing and the standards of boxing and the noble art that boxing is...No bad language, no hitting people with eggs and then actually promoting it. Is this what we are now? Is this what it’s come to now? Is this what we are? Is this who we are? Because if it’s who we are it’s who your children are going to be.
“Boxing is about rules and it’s about being noble. No bad language. Conor Benn, you swear like a possessed drunk. You’re supposed to be in Christ. I believed in you. I do not believe that you did anything to do with drugs, I think he was set up. But now with this language coming out of you — it’s said it’s not what goes inside of you that defiles you, it’s what comes out of your mouth — and your language is deplorable.
“Who’s got you binded down into this? Who’s destroyed your career? Destroyed it! Three fights in three years — you do understand I was fighting five world championship fights a year. If you’ve had three fights in three years — same with you, Junior — if you’ve had three fights in three years, what’s happened to you guys? There are no standard bearers to steer you correctly. So you’re lost, and the only way you’re going to find yourselves is by looking at the rules.”
On if he has any concern about Eubank Jr having someone on his team that will pull him from the fight if he’s not making the weight safely
“The answer is the fight won’t happen. I am so confident about this fact — it will not happen. If this goes ahead the rules are trashed and our nation are effectively a bunch of morons. Come back at me and tell me I’m wrong, or tell me to get off my high horse and actually get on board. Who’s going to tell me to get on board in their right minds?
“It seems like I’m the one person saying ‘Hold on a minute, guys. You’re all going the wrong way.’...We have to go the other way. This way, where they’re taking you, is to the pits, and I’m not doing that.
“I’m the one that created Matchroom...Matchroom would not have superseded other promoters at the time if it weren’t for the spirit that led me through my career. And look at what Matchroom stands for now. It’s a mockery. Barry, I gifted you this. You helped me and I helped you. Without me I couldn’t give you the gift but you passed to one of your family members. Where are you, Barry? You go along with all of this?”
On Eddie Hearn and Ben Shalom saying they want to see him in his son’s corner on fight night
“I will not be an accomplice to their stupidity, to their circus. What’s happening is against the rules. 147 against 160 is against the rules. When Kell Brook was made to fight GGG, it’s against the rules. That boy had his eye socket smashed. This is what happens. The promoters, to them it’s just a game but to the warriors it’s a way of life. And we have to call them what they are, and they are trash.”
Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | PPV - 26 April 2025
Think it would be illegal to stop it from the purse . .if it was he could argue it a tax deductible. Any way I would just tell them to do one and sue meRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑16 Apr 2025, 08:19The fine isn’t being deducted from his purse is it?

‘I’ve got a big point to prove to myself’: Conor Benn trains for a rugged fight against Chris Eubank Jr
Conor Benn has the biggest fight of his career on the horizon when he’ll take on Chris Eubank Jr on April 26 in a second generation grudge match. Ahead of the fight Matchroom takes viewers inside of Benn’s training camp as he looks to make a point in the ring against Eubank Jr.
“I’ve got a big point to prove to myself. I’ve got a massive chip on my shoulder,” Benn says. “When I do my training I’m all about making things harder for myself, it ain’t no joke to me.”
Although Benn makes sure to push himself in training, he also makes sure he puts together nice accommodations for him and his team as he prepares for the fight.
“People would rather spend six figures on bottles in the club after the fight. I’d rather spend six figures on me having the best team I possibly can, to give me the best opportunity I can in order to be the best fighter that I can be...It’s like a well-oiled machine.”
Check out some footage of Benn in video at the top with just over a week until his showdown with Eubank Jr.

‘There’s no going back’: Chris Eubank Jr adhering to strict preparation for Conor Benn fight
Chris Eubank Jr says his fight with Conor Benn might be the first big fight where both fighters get booed into the ring.
Check out what Eubank Jr had to say below.
On getting fined 100,000 pounds for hitting Benn with an egg
“We are dealing with the situation. 100,000 pounds for throwing an egg seems a little bit strong, especially looking at what others have been fined for what would seem to be much more serious incidents over the years. I don’t think anyone has gotten anywhere close to a 100k fine, tables be thrown, people getting punched in the face, slapped in the face. So 100k for an egg, it’s steep and we will deal with the situation.”
On his upcoming fight with Benn
“There’s no going back now. Everyday is a graft, everyday is a grind, everyday is a challenge to push yourself, to rest properly, to refuel, to rehydrate. Everything is scheduled, it’s strict, it’s regimented. That’s what you have to do to prepare to go to war.
“The real weight cut doesn’t come until the week of the fight for most fighters. It is tough, I’m not going to lie. It’s not fun, it’s not a nice part of the sport having to boil yourself down to a certain weight. Adding in the fact that I can now not rehydrate fully, I can’t eat and drink as much as I want after the weigh in, adds another element of discomfort and hardship to what I’m going through.
“But this is what we sign up for, this is what we do as professional athletes. As elite level fighters you have to go through these trials, these tribulations, and I’ve been doing it my entire career so I have no doubt that the weight will be made. ‘
“I’m not focused on the amount of people that will be there, I’m not focused on the scale of this event, I’m not focused on the hype around this fight. All of that is really irrelevant. What’s important is the fight, what happens when that bell goes. Whether there’s 70,000 people there or seven people, my mindset, my game plan, my strategy is going to be exactly the same.
“This is the first megafight in boxing history where you have two bad guys. You have the potential for both fighters in a superfight being booed into the ring. It’s never happened before and it’s probably going to happen on April 26.”

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | PPV - 26 April 2025
While I understand Eubank Sr argument regarding the weight issue I don't think that in this fight Benn will do any serious damage to Jr.
Looking further however he has a valid point and can ot argue with him on it.
I don't think Benn has the power to inflict any serious damage, unless he is juiced up, but again if he his any serious damage could lead to criminal charges.

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | PPV - 26 April 2025
Benn's power is surely less important than how dehydrated or not Eubanks is at the weight, no?
Is there VADA testing for the fight? I have seen and heard 'yes' from some and 'no' from others.
Does Benn have TUEs now that he didn't have in the lead up to the first planned fight? Does Eubanks?
