Should be a payday for Williams, much better than in Latvian leisure centres.

People will want to see it, surely it will be a TV event, maybe on a misfits bill

To be fair to Danny, he has his kids' private care home fees to pay for now they are in their 80s.

I get what you're saying, but I dunno. We (nerds) all know Ike Ibeabuchi but not sure even many boxing fans under 40 would have a scooby.

That’s pretty funny. Poor old Danny.. honestly. This can’t be real. It’s like someone comes up with the worst idea then thinks, but how can we make this even worse? I know! I’ll get Danny Williams fighting again.

Far be it from me to even have an opinion on what he should do but is Danny struggling this bad, financially?

One of my favourite British fighters and even though he bangs out a few cans in a round, every now and then, he gets pummeled, most the time by guys he would have vapourised anywhere near his prime.

Health first and all that but, I guess, he knows what he is (still) doing.....

loser to *fight Jake Paul

*subject to conditions (which include: opponent must be dehydrated as ringwalk begins, opponent must fail brain scan, and no testing for Jake Paul)

Maybe he can't turn down 30k to fight an older guy who has been inactive for 25 years.

Much less dangerous than coming up against euro up and comers

As an experienced former pro, if you had 12 weeks to train, what level would you fight now in your fifties as a one off for £30k?

Could you do light middleweight? William Crolla in a four rounder?

There is truth to this, so can't argue it.

I would happily fight someone my own age, much more so if they hadn't fought for 25 years.
I'm not skint, but probably 5k would spark my interest.
I wouldn't fight any current pro, even in a 4 rounder, especially if he was half decent.
Maybe for 6 figures!
I could get myself in shape, but it's being able to take the punishment, serious, permanent damage could happen

I had started going to the gym, just to keep fit, but I'm a bit of an all or nothing guy, got in good shape and got offered a fight, I thought why not! Decent money. I was already in shape, trying to reclaim my youth a bit!
Got cut in both fights, and was picking up lots of little injuries, my body was telling me that's enough.
When I am saying that I'm talking about the training, even picking up muscle strains doing roadwork which meant I needed to take a week or so off.
I was 35/36 by then, too old to be a boxer really, it's was quite obvious then the difference between what a boxer can endure as someone in their 20's, to in their 30's.
Getting in shape is the easy bit but recovery is the problem.
Taking shots used to be easy, but by then your head doesn't feel as strong, not in terms of individual shots more in terms of lasting damage.
Boxing was good to me, I loved it, also used boxing as much as it used me, got out at the right time, health in tact and a couple of quid in my pocket.

:TU: Good stuff. Cheers. Your first fight with Scott Dixon is on YT. Your jab was decent and solid, knocked his head back a good few times.

Bizarrely, because I’m a a nature fan, I know gorillas has one of the smallest penises of all primates. Only 3-6 centimeters. (With wood.)
I would suggest a more hung bunch of primate rapists and then I would agree 😁
