id put it down to him just being lazy due to lack of threat, he was just winging shots in and didnt box like he was facing a serious opponent. after the fight he basically said as much and that he wanted tougher opponents

Teramoa looks like a decent prospect, but he is going to have to box eventually. Hopfuly they get him on the Jai undercard vs somone a bit more credible.

so i saw that terry is fighting aleem whitfield this weekend

i thought to myself, hey i know that name, it's the former us amateur standout aleem whitfield

and then i remembered he was more like a middleweight when he did that, and he turned pro at 167

he did a stretch in prison (been in trouble his whole life), and upon getting out has balloneed into the 240s, almost 100 pounds heavier than he started

he's also 6 feet tall

kinda similarities with amir masnour, who turned out to be a pretty decent fighter, but i doubt whitfield will be nearly as formidable, few are in cases like this

He was getting clipped but I think it was due to him knowing there was not much of note coming back.

Needs a lot of work on his defense, another fight I watched he was caught clean easily.
Right now he is as leaky as a 50 year old mother of 7.
If they keep feeding him littler guys he can just bully, and not put it on him, he is going to fail abysmally if he tries for the second tier.
Given his natural advantages, I still think he has potential.

he himself said 2 fights ago, with hearn standing next to him, that he wasnt happy with his opposition. and his original opponent for this bout was another knockover too, some indian guy with no notable background

You never take unnecessary punches, no matter what is or isn't coming back when in this learning stage. If he doesn't learn to duck or block these lower level guys, it's not going to cut it higher up.
