I was excited to see him back, until he started glazing Dana.
Also definitely don't agree with Bud being the #1 P4P over Usyk and Inoue, even though I like Bud as a boxer.

He only done that to sell/hype the fight.. Calling Dana the best combat sports promoter as well.

He's barely gonna say, 'sorry Bud, Usyk and Monster are above you'.

I didn’t want to say he got paid to say that, because I’m not trying to get sued by Eddie Hearn :D

Even if money played a role, he still said it, so gotta assume it reflects his opinion.

Oh I see
Top two boxers on the card get all the bread
Everyone else gets the crumbs and has an opportunity to build themselves
It's payday for the big names
And a way through for prospects :box:

For some reason it doesn't feel like the fight has the momentum it should
They have July August and part of September so I'm sure they'll do well
Where does it really fall on the boxing fans radar
It's a must see for sure
But I have have my reservations about their capabilities at this time in their careers

when terence crawford is standing in front of you he is not really trying to hit you. he is trying to pull you. the same way that a tide will suck you into the ocean.

Sounds like fun :D

I can see an upset. I can also see an absolute stinker and a close decision win for Bud.
After Paul vs Tyson not really something Netflix and boxing need.

BRITISH BANTAMWEIGHT PROSPECT ADAM MACA SEEKS SPOT ON CANELO-CRAWFORD UNDERCARD

Count Adam Maca among the fighters looking to land a spot on the Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford undercard.

Maca made his pitch to Turki Alalshikh in separate posts on X recently, asking for a coveted chance Sept. 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Netflix will stream their fight for Alvarez’s Ring, IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight titles and part of the undercard.

Alalshikh has made it known that he is seeking some of boxing’s rising prospects and stars to fight on the streamed three-fight undercard.

“Turki, you saw my last response did the most numbers,“ Maca said. “Get me on that card and I’ll show you exactly what I can do.”

England’s Maca (1-0, 1 KO) made his pro debut on the undercard of Richardson Hitchins’ eighth-round stoppage of George Kambosos on June 14 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. Maca, 18, stopped Rafael Castillo in the second round.

The bantamweight prospect dominated, landing several big shots against Castillo (2-7, 1 KO) before referee Arthur Mercante Jr. stopped their fight.

The British-Albanian prospect, who is signed to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, won five national titles and a silver medal while representing Albania at the IBA World Junior Championships in 2023.

Mikie Tallon, Yuta Sakai tabbed by Turki Alalshikh for Canelo-Crawford card

Turki Alalshikh extended an invitation for up-and-coming fighters to plead their case as to why they deserve a slot on the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez-Terence Crawford undercard.

That hasn’t stopped the event’s chief bankroller from offering a few suggestions of his own.

The high-powered figure has named unbeaten prospects Mikie Tallon and Yuta Sakai as two candidates for the September 13 Netflix event from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both are coming off early knockout victories and have summer fights lined up, which could help further leave a lasting impression.

Tallon, a flyweight who is 8-0 (1 KO), scored his first win inside the distance with a second-round knockout of Jemsi Kibazange on June 14 in his hometown of Liverpool, England. A right hand put Kibazange down to produce the ending at just 2:17 of the second round.

Tallon’s previous seven bouts had gone to the scorecards, but the knockout win came right on time.

“I want to see this fighter on the undercard of Canelo vs Crawford,” Alalshikh posted on X, accompanied by a picture of Tallon and head trainer Joe Gallagher.

The 20-year-old Tallon – who is managed by former two-division champ Natasha Jonas – is due to next fight on July 11 versus an opponent to be determined in Liverpool. While Tallon prepares for that night, he and his team are already getting to work on a potential trip to the U.S.

“Thank you for the tweet [Monday] morning, Your Excellency,” Tallon said in a video response. “Hopefully see you soon and see you in Vegas. I won’t let you down.”

Added Gallagher: “Speak to you later.”

Sakai, 4-0 (4 KOs), extended his perfect mark one night after Tallon’s abovementioned knockout.

The 20-year-old southpaw bantamweight hails from Yokohama, Japan – the same hometown as four-division champ Naoya Inoue, both of whom are with Ohashi Promotions. In his most recent outing, Sakai stopped countryman Ryoji Myashita in the second round of their clash on June 15 in Osaka, Japan.

Sakai is due to return to the ring on August 21 in Tokyo, which could make it difficult to return just three weeks later in Vegas.

Still, there are lofty plans in store for the second-year prospect.

"I hope [Sakai] will participate in the undercard of Canelo-Crawford in September and Inoue's undercard in December,” Alalshikh posted. “And I want to make him an ambassador as one of the talents of The Ring Magazine.”

Both callouts came after a weekend where Christian Mbilli, 29-0 (24 KOs) – another fighter on Alalshikh’s earlier wishlist – delivered a statement-making performance. The unbeaten super middleweight claimed the WBC interim title with a first-round stoppage of former title challenger Maciej Sulecki on June 27 in Quebec City, Canada.

Mbilli was one of nine fighters initially identified by Alalshikh in a June 10 X post to fight on the September 13 undercard.

I have to admit, this conversation is a bit too American for me to follow.
So, who's the one into pans again?
