15 Rounds Lightweight Bout
"Macho" Camacho would overwhelm De Jesus with his southpaw jabs and fast combinations to take a decision or would De Jesus overcame Camacho's southpaw style to outhustle him off the ring or ropes to take a decision. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Esteban De Jesus by decision. De Jesus was a terrific fighter that doesn't get the credit that he properly deserves.
Re: Hector Camacho Sr. vs. Esteban Jesus
I think Camacho takes this one. He was quicker, slicker, tougher, more accomplished.
I can see De Jesus rocking him with some shots, but Camacho with his flashy speed and combinations would definitely get the better of most rounds and take a UD.

Agree with Elmo on this one. Camacho had great speed but I would take De Jesus by decision. Once he caught Camacho a few times, which he would, I think Camacho becomes more conservative and De Jesus outworks him. De Jesus was an outstanding fighter

Esteban De Jesus was the only one that beat the great Roberto Duran in Duran's prime. He gave the BLUEPRINT for fighters to follow in how to beat Manos de Piedra.
Hector "Macho" Camacho was also a hell of a fighter. But, not on De Jesus's class. De Jesus was good but not in a different class by any means. Both were on the same level.

They're both Puerto Ricans too so there would be a lot of National Pride on the line if these 2 had been around at the same time. It would've been easy to promote for sure.
