Firstly Trump is not a fascist. He wouldn't know what it is. He's a greedy, hedonistic sociopath with enormous insecurity issues and absolutely no respect for civil order, curtesy or the common good. In order to increase his own personal wealth, Trump actions align with fascism. Like fascists, Trump is prepared to use nationalism, xenophobia, divine purpose to drive his popularity. Like fascism, Trump is willing to create a cabal of powerful economic entities that contribute to his power, in order to get an unfair share of the economic pie. However, unlike fascism, Trump is not doing this to further any quasi-nationalistic or racist believes. He's doing it purely for profit and ego.

So it's a bit like looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, but in the end it's just an orange maggot boring into it's host getting fatter and fatter.

Secondly, fascism does not automatically mean genocide and there are a lot of steps in-between. What Trump cannot stand is accountability or anything that restricts his power. Hence his hate towards fake news, radical judges, the opposition party, deep-state FBI and finally free elections. I find it entirely plausible that Trump will try and stop the mid-terms. I find it implausible, that Trump is going to say, "we are going to round up every Muslim in the US and put them in camps".

You are correct, but there are others, like miller, who would happily do just that, given a free reign.

Trump would happily round up anyone, muslim or otherwise if it meant he could seize power eternally.

It is fortunate Trump lost his second election. He will die soon enough, or turn into a total cabbage, and the likes of miller or vance lack his carnival barkers spiel and are deeply dislikable. Rubio is just hanging in hoping to get his shot, and most of the rest are utter incompetents.
