This is the conundrum all over the developed world. Birth rates are tanking but there's also an anti-immigration backlash at the same time. It's gonna be real interesting when the social security fund runs out and seniors are staring down steep benefit cuts in a few years.
So, Camus was right about the Great Replacement then?
No?

Well, your point seems pretty close to his line of argument (although obviously he disapproves, whereas I assume you somehow think it's a good thing).

It's pretty obvious but questions about immigration, nationalism and cultural identity are increasingly the subject of political debate. Voting patterns are also becoming more sectarian even if some cultures seem to respect democracy more than others.

Topics like housing, welfare, health, skills and the labour market are increasingly bound up with immigration too - which is becoming the most important political question of our time. Many people believe that their way of life is under threat from aliens whose norms, values and culture are, in many ways, hostile to their own. Such sentiments are growing in the UK and elsewhere.

I mean, I'm advocating for increased legal immigration so that national programs like that people desperately rely on (Medicare, Social Security, etc.) have enough taxpayers paying into them to sustain them as birth rates decline and the population ages. To me that doesn't sound very much like a plot by "globalists" (i.e. jews) to "replace" the population for some vaguely defined nefarious purpose.

It lacks the Jewish conspiracy theory angle, that is true, but that sounds pretty much like a programme of replacement to me - even if your justification for it is deeply flawed as mass immigration is more likely to increase the demand for such services than resolve their supply.

Mass immigration does create profit though, mainly for the super rich. At the expense of the rest of the population whose quality of life is worsened. I'll give you that.

What the libs dont realise is that when the whites are a minority there won’t be enough money in taxes paid to support the social system or pay for the benefits , schools etc of all the migrant workers brought in.

System is going to collapse. There’s millions of our own young people out of work - get them the jobs and you won’t need to import the entire third world and replace yourselves.

The whole notion of diversity is a croc of shite. All they want is eveybody mixed together so eveywhere looks and feels the same: noisy, dangerous and disjointed. Nobody feels at home or has any sense of belonging or solidarity. What a load of crap.

In reality, diversity is when you go to different places and can observe different people with different customs, ideas and cultures. So, Germany is different to France or Greece or Brazil or wherever. Or like when you can observe diversity within any given country. Like in England, where Geordies are (or were) different to Scousers or Cockneys of whatever.

That's good. That's 'rich', that's interesting, that's of some value. Not just one shit mix where everything is the same everywhere.

There's an Islamic time bomb set to go off all over the West both figuratively and literally in the coming years. Populations are skyrocketing, mosques are opening at record rates, and it's not a tired old racist canard. The number of mosques that have opened within less than 10 miles of where I live is shocking. Numerous suburban police forces are now involved in traffic control for hours for Friday prayers. Take an early morning drive on a weekday and look at the kids waiting for school buses, you'd think you're in Amman or Gaza.

Jimmy Carter would have beaten Ronald Reagan in 1980 if not for two factors:

1) Inflation caused by OPEC
2) The Iranian Hostage Situation

So The Middle East is making the US more conservative in 1980 and more conservative now as well.

A lot. In both cases Middle Eastern nations by action or immigration are making people more conservative.

It takes a very specific, narrow perspective to view this as "replacement" though. I know many people who are kids of immigrants or are naturalized immigrants themselves. Hell my mom is the child of immigrants. They seem no less American to me than anyone else I know whose family has been here for several generations. To me it is not a "replacement" but a creation of more Americans.

And no, the economic need is not "flawed". Most immigrants do not come here at retirement age. They come when they are young. When you have a low birth rate and an aging population, you need young people paying into the system who will not collect benefits for decades. That's how it works, unless you want significant tax hikes, which I can tell you is just about the only thing the Republican party in the US wants less than increased immigration.

And "quality of life is worsened" is about as handwavey and personal as it gets. Immigration has in no way reduced my quality of life, and I can absolutely guarantee that the vast majority of anti-immigrant voters in the US have not had their lives improved in the slightest by Trump's deportation efforts.

Both. The fact this is making people more conservative should be apparent to everyone. If it wasn't for immigration, Trump-Harris would have been closer. If it wasn't for immigration AND the trans issue, Harris would have won.

It's bleeding, blindingly obvious that what you're suggesting is a great replacement.

Mass immigration is also making life more dirty, dangerous, corrupt, divided and unpleasant for ordinary people across the western world. It's as clear as day, the evidence is overwhelming. Yet still you advocate more of this madness.

Look at the primary school or birth data and come back to me on the replacement angle. You’ll notice it a lot more in 20 years when the boomers and gen x have died off and the culture is totally alien when the new gen grow up.
