Well he's older than Khan and has 2 years more pro experience. Comparing Khan and Chavez's first 12 opponents is a no-go and if you looked through Chavez's list of opp you'll find he has fought many feathers/lightweights himself.

I think the main issue here is the fact that Khan gets put out there in the limelight so people over scrutinize his record..

I've seen quite a few of Chavezs fights and his opposition has been better than Amirs generally..... Chavez also had a much shorter Amutuer career than Khan as well... but the main point for me is that Chavez isnt going around saying he's going to be champ in a year and isnt calling other fighters out and then ducking them when his bluff is called....

Khan says on the BBC site that Earl pulled out of a proposed fight before they opted for Limond.

This is a proper step up. Okay, Limond doesn't have much power, but he's a technically solid and experienced pro who is more than likely to give Khan a fight.

I think thats a bit unfair to Limond who is an honest pro' and a good boxer. Is he a proper test for Khan? well that's up for dabate, but Limond IS a live body.

And by far the best fighter Khan has fought as a professional.

I think it's a good fight. Ok it doesn't seem the riskiest, but Limmond will be an excellent test, and not to be taken for granted. A solid pro, with an excellent record (28-1).

Who gives a sh#t about records? Does that mean you were impressed with Audley taking on Tomas Bonin 26-0 and Richel Hersisia 21-0?

This Limmond fella, the 1 guy he fought stopped him, the 28 guys he beat we've never heard of.

Any guy with no power Khans juts going to steamroller them, and pitty pat "blazing handspeed" them to a ref-assisted PR stoppage.

I think he means there are more ways to test a fighter other than just the chin. The thing is Khan needs to go in with a puncher of sorts imo so he doesn't think he can go in windmilling those punches and leaving his chin open. He'll learn a lot more from fighting someone with power he'll have to respect
