Americas Qualifiers

Anyone know when the Americas qualifiers are going to be and where? Have dates been set for these or if not, when are they expected to be?

Nothing announced yet. They have been in Tijuana, Mexico and a South American country and are usually in early spring.

At the world championships in Chicago, the Americas bureau will meet to decide on where the quailifiers will be. I know Trinidad and Tabago really wants to host one.

Since Cuba is not coming, it will be interesting to see if Jorge Guzman, the Americas President from Cuba shows up. I would think their coaches would come to do some scouting.

I would think Guzman will be there because of the Extra-Ordinary Congress, and scout for Cuba. I wonder if AIBA would give credentials to any Cuban coaches just to scout - kinda doubt it, but stranger things have happened.
