While entering bouts over the past few weeks I've collected a number of names that are similar. I wonder whether two or more records under similar names belong to the same guy, as they are from the same era. If so, would the editors with the knowledge please merge those records. Visitors who are not editors but who have information that will help are welcome to post replies here.

Here are some example:

1) Frankie Murphy:

2) Jimmy Francis:

3) George Smith:

Finally, regarding Harry Roberts: http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=46297
I think there might be at least two of them that have been combined into one record. One was a bantam and the other a light-heavy or middleweight.

Ric,
I cleared the records up a little bit. In the record of "Lockport" Jimmy Duffy, his bouts with Red Cap Wilson do not match his record, nor does his 1915 bout with Benny Leonard, and neither are in the record of "Westside" Jimmy Duffy, so I'm not sure about those bouts.

Also, the 1935 Jimmy Duffy, I imagine is "Oakland" Jimmy Duffy, but I have no source saying so.
