May favourite one was in the immediate aftermath of the Mayweather -v- Hatton fight, on a station called Talksport (should really be called Talkfootball) in the UK: the callers were ringing up the station & saying, "That Mayweather's really good, innit!"

A few years back I was going to fight Amir Khan and there was quite a lot of attention from the local papers. I got beat in the fight immediately preceding it, and it was off- thank christ. However I know 90% of the local population between 18-40 so I still get asked every now and then when i'm going to come back and knock out that Amir Khan. I used to try and explain why tht would never happen to each and every one but i've give up now.... Now I just say I can't coz of the asthma.... One guy sent me a message on facebook about it after watching Khan beat Gomez or Fagan, can't remember and said 'I know you can beat him- he's got the speed but you've got he power!!!' 2 Stoppages from 16 pro fights!!! I think he'd have been safe.

Quality and modest, although in fairness Jeff, Amir does not exactly have steel in the chin does he? Woulda been a fight to tell the grandkids about one day wouldnt it??

You should have been at Upton Park on Saturday. Liverpool had I think 2 Englishmen on the field, but it was a team of Scousers according to the crowd!
