Looks pretty bleak I think they are having an emergency meeting sometime and they have until the end of the month to pay Scottish football think they'll go into administration would like ESPN to take over they would keep it quite similiar to what it already is

Although I think with all the media coverage starting it might be sooner.

Although there have been some good rumblings in the media concerning ESPN and a slight possibility of Virgin? - mind you what the newspapers say and the latest rumour who knows what is right or wrong?

If they'd not bothered with football and concentrated mainly on boxing, UFC and golf - and charged, say, 7 quid a month - they'd have a lot less subscribers, but, conversely, I'd guess, be in a lot healthier position financially. Fvcking football!

I really don't understand why TV pay fortunes for Football rights. I'm a football fan an tune in to the Sunday game on Sky most weekends - but it is not something I could not miss. Mainly cause its not an "event" like boxing and its so accessible to get the results and highlights.

International matches and the FA Cup I can understand a TV paying millions for these.
