Barney Ross

2 wins over the very hard hitting Jimmy McClarnin.

The best name is Leonard with Duran a very close second; best performance either Ramirez or Boza Edwards.

Steve Robinson?

Tough one, I'd say Paul Hodkinson

Jack Dempsey

Good call Tom, I remember watching that one with my heart in my mouth.

I'll leave the Dempsey for someone more qualified.

I'd say the sharkey fight - after Dempsey's first loss to tunney he needed a really good win and destroyed sharkey in his inimitable manner to set up another tilt at his arch foe.

a pro for over 20 years, but what was bobo Olsen's greatest hour?

Tough, between Gavilan and Turpin. I'm going with Randy Turpin.

the night he beat greb on points in my view, although he must have been happy with the draw against the whirlwind a bit later - underrated fighter loughran.

next up? its gotta be ...rubin carter

Rubin Carter's finest hour has got to be when he KO'd Emile Griffith in 1 round. Considering that Griffith was only stopped one other time in his career in 14 rounds against the Legendary Middleweight Champion Carlos Monzon, that is one hell of a great victory.

Erik Morales

Gus Lesnevich although he got great credit for his performance against Joe Louis.

KO1 Schmeling

Eusebio Pedroza

The best name on Pedroza's record was Olivares though the best win was Lujan.

What about Duke McKenzie?

Best win Lujan?

I thought Lujan was a good win over a very good fighter.

Who'd you have?

It is a good win, but I wouldn't say his greatest or greatest hour. I'm not sure who I'd have as an answer, but I don't Lujan would be it. And I've never watched Duke McKenzie so I am of no service on that

That's a honest answer and if you look through Eusebio's record it's not full of top level hard contenders; Lujan is my honest answer to the question with Lockridge a close second.

You ought to have a look at Duke McKenzie - that man could box and fight.
