journeyman? he was 16-6 with 15 ko's and took wbo supermiddleweight champion stieglitz the distance
ok fair enough he is a good journeyman who knocks out fellow journeymen and has a UD defeat to Stieglitz. You just seen him, made one of the most basic mistakes in boxing! If hes not a journeyman what is he?
I thought Quigley did enough early to win by a couple of rounds, to give it 4 rounds the other way is really pushing it, but Smith was the home fighter.
Saville is a good fighter, but an area level lightweight. Gavin showed his class, probably our best prospec, but is a genuine welterweight now and won't be winning inside the distance against good fighters of his own size.
I was there couldn't really score it properly thought smith won but it was close, great atmosphere smigga had the vocal fans lost my voice cheering him on the rematch will be even better and a more convincing win for smigga
Bellew was impressive tonight blew him away he needs to be put in against the likes of oakey now best light heavey weight in the country
Beefy won on points won all the rounds but was looking to get in a tear up to much looked better when he boxed, Swifty was impressive tonight good body work an kept on reid all night, joe selkirk stopped alex spitko in the 4th debatable stoppage but selkirk looked good after a long lay off. Jennings won comfortably on points as did tobias webb

Smith showed his limits again tonights hes never gonna be near world class in my opinion, gets outboxed far too easy but has good grit and determination, i wanna c him in with magee.

DeGale was very impressive picked his shots well and switched really effectively landed good overhand lefts when orthodox, Gavin also looked good landed good body shots and is sitting down on his shots more now. Bellew picked his shots well and finished very well. The main event wasnt a great specticule until the 11th round, I had Smith winning 115-113. Quigley looked sloppy but was reasonably effective in the earlier rounds but when looked knackered late when Smith came on if there was another round I think Smith would have stopped him.
