If that is true then there seems nothing wrong with the marketing strategy, and well, defeats Spudster's arguments.
Looks like no one gives a f**k about the undercard, they're all going anyway !
eric.... you are a bigger freeloader than spud !!ERIC GUY wrote:Please dont have a go at poor Spudio, He did do some work for Frank Maloney, Driving and general helping out, and he enjoyed it, getting to see the shows, picking up fighters etc, till he crashed a mini bus carrying fighters, but thats irrelevant, even tho he has never held any licence by the Boxing board, he still helps out, and its great that a guy who enjoys his boxing gets a chance in the fight game, he has 'helped out' Henessey sports, Hayemaker Promotions, and is now with Dennis Hobson, so he has served his 'time' in the game

i remember at the york hall once, spud rushed into the gents to collar johnny nelson for an autograph, nelson was pre occupied having a piss (as johnny needed to hold his meat with 2 hands) so spud offered to hold nelsons todger while he signed....... and this is true.
sad thing is, eric guy filmed it !!!! .....

what i think it is with that , is that people in nottingham are very passionate about any of their own , if you understand me , i dont think any of the notts lads on here go overboard with froch , some people might but not the ones i specifically know of being from nottingham.jBacca wrote:Froch fanboysdamianhucker1 wrote:

Ah, so you DO know something about the undercard, you little tease, you. Please please please can I make numerous guesses while you smugly state only that you know something but can't reveal it?Spud wrote:You are getting warmer!!! - although not boiling hotleforge wrote:I think few maloney fighters will be on bill I Did read jamie moore was fighting again about april I wonder if he be on it! A lot of forum posters HAVE made more of their involvement in the sport, and/or are higher up and/or do more interesting jobs, and don't feel the need to gloat about it at every opportunity.BIGMARK wrote:Spud wrote:.JEALOUSLY![]()
i'm not questioning your knowledge Spud as i'm sure that's fine but it just seems you think your someone important. Yes alot of us would of loved to have the chance to work within the game but a lot of us would of taken that chance and would of made something of it.
Agreed whicker.whicker wrote:Whats clear from the ticket sales is that people don't buy tickets to see the undercard.
I expect a very un-filled arena for the first few hours.
indeed. i'll take a pic as i'll be tehre for every undercard fight to show how empty it iswhicker wrote:Whats clear from the ticket sales is that people don't buy tickets to see the undercard.
