I'd say the bottom line in Froch v Khan is opposition.

Froch has done it the hard way, banged out his domestic rivals, risen to world level and fought 4 absolute top class operators in his 4 world title fights.

Khan has done it the easy way, steered around his domestic rivals, been blown out in 50 secs by a hard hitting fringe contender then fought small soft hitting opponents in his 2 'title' fights and has yet another one coming up.

Surely only the hardcore Khan lover could actually compare their records & favour 'King Khan'.

Fact is he is a little prick who had a fight with kotelinik PURCHASED for him without even campaigning at the weight. He's avoided all his domestic peers and after he squeaks past Malignaggi they will serve up the corpse of Erik Morales.

AMIR KHAN has reignited his bitter war of words with Carl Froch by claiming the Cobra should retire following his loss to Mikkel Kessler.

Froch, 32, dropped the WBC super-middleweight title to Kessler via unanimous decision on Saturday night.

And Khan was quick to rub salt into the wounds by blasting the Nottingham puncher on his personal Facebook page.

The WBA light-welterweight champ said: "Froch got his ass whooped against a fighter who Joe Calzaghe beat easily.

"Froch always had a lot to say and talked trash about fighters, including me. What goes around comes around.

"I think he should hang up his gloves and work for me. I'll get him a job with Khan Promotions to put up posters."

Despite the fact they fight in different weight classes, Froch and Khan have never hidden their mutual dislike for one another.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun last year, the Cobra criticised Khan's punch resistance.

He told us: "If he gets hit hard, he gets knocked out. That's something that will never change as you can't put muscles around the chin.

"He's adapted his style now and has done it well. He throws fast punches at range, keeps out of the way and tucks up into his shell if anything comes back at him.

"Fair play to him, he's the WBA champion, but it's a poor division."

Froch's opinion did not sit well with Khan, who responded in an interview with our sister paper the News of the World.

Following the first defeat of Froch's career in Denmark, it appears Khan has changed his stance about respecting fellow fighters.

And it is more than likely the Cobra will happily bite back at the earliest opportunity.
