Behaviour such as this by "fans" is spoiling boxing. I've said so, and seen it before. And there were incidents in the venue, too.

Promotors (or is it the venues- who is responsible?) need to crack down on this- a strict "Zero tolerance" campaign on crowd aggression and misbehaviour.

There have always been yobs- some of them white, some asian, some black.

Just as there have always been decent, sensible boxing fans, some white, some asian, some black.

His fans are c*cks, granted, and I have sat near them at bouts, and trouble has never been that far away, which is upsetting and sad to see.That being said, he seems like a very friendly, approachable bloke, and yet people have booed him from day 1, which must leave a sour taste in his mouth.I would be very interested to hear why he is so disliked, as I just can't see it myself.

Got to say met him at a couple of Jamie Moore fights and he was okay - posed for a photo with my lad etc etc and then met him and his entourage at Hatton/Maussa when I had to deal with them for seats in the VIP area - I will be perfectly honest they were perfect gentlemen.

However - once a squaddie always a squaddie - I was in the mob for 24 years and one particular story from a very reliable source within the ministry of defence (high ranking officer) told me something about Team Khan and alledged rumours concerning some lads and medals which were meant to be handed out by Khan and alledgedly were then refused.

Then to top that I regard Olly Harrison very highly indeed and out of all the Trainer/Fighter fallouts I truly believe Olly was treated very badly indeed.
