I think Frank will pull some thing out of the bag. My only concern is with World Title fights lined up for Brook and Cleverly in the new year he won't risk putting them in with opponents of meaningful calibre, as with big pay days at stake and the business man he is he'd be silly to. I just wish he would stop trying to big up the card as if it is going to be some thing special, cos personally my self I can't see it.

Magnificent Seven was a lot more exciting bill on paper than this, Clev will walk through whoever he fights, so will Brook and probably Macklin v Barker wont happen, so that leaves Smigga v DeGale as the only intriguing fight.
i didn't give the link, but i pasted a german newspaper article on one of these sites suggesting that dimitrenko - having turned down a place in the IBF elimination tournament - could be fighting sosnowski on the big FW show.

i hope it's not bollocks. that said, the fight will happen somewhere as sosnowski is his mandatory for the EBU heavyweight title.

Is Erdei not in the running to fight for the interim WBO title?

This Lakatos guy seems like a weak opponent for Cleverly. I really hope it is someone better.

not sure erdei has a promoter. a number of guys left universum, leaving them without a ton of marketability and maybe not enough credibility for the promoters to queue up to sign them, after desultory title reigns.

not having a promoter can definitely slow things down.

i would guess that cleverly's ppl are waiting for braehmer to go away. though i would hope they were gunning for the german bad boy.

suck on this:
Brähmer can fight anywhere

Photo: Jens Umbach/UBP
In response to recent inaccurate stories in the British press, Universum Box-Promotion has clarified that no warrant has been issued against WBO light heavyweight champion Jürgen Brähmer nor is his freedom of movement limited in any way.

Although the champ does have a pending court case that probably won’t be resolved for years, Brähmer’s defense counsel has confirmed that the German “100 Year Talent” is free to defend his world title and/or visit any location anywhere in the world.

why are thre UK press wiritng garbage, and who is feeding it to them i wonder? trying to pull one over the british fans, so they accept a 2nd rate "world inter...whatever" title fight?

How likely is it that Cleverly vs Brahmer will be on this show?

Not sure, but I would love for that fight to happen. It would be the first time Cleverly faced a legitimate power puncher.

Is Khan's fight part of the PPV?

If it is then I am guessing there will be less Sky money for Warren, so the quality of this show will take a hit.

How is it all going to work?

Chisora fight will be part of ppv. Warren does not need to deliver such a big bill as before. Smith will sell out Liverpool as he done 8,000 and 6000 last two fights. Better than all but a few UK fighters!

Got them off the Arena website. Lower tier, Block 3, 2nd row, central to the ring, 50 buff. Sorted.

bloody hell, that's a great little fight, braehmer and shumenov.

i think if clev fights one of them over here, it won't be on a massive show involving multi main events. it'll cost a lot to get one of those guys in the UK.

cleverly has made great progress, specifically in the mcintosh and murat fights, and he is close to a world title. hope it happens for him, but i think those of us who hoped for december were being massively optimistic.

This is a possible massive fight, where has the info come from?

Both of them are quite beatable as well. It would be a great opportunity for Clev.

Brahmer will stop Shumenov who has shown vunerability in his last 3 fights... Brahmer needs 1 shot to end a fight, Ask Brancalion... People forget Clev nailed Brancalion with everything and he was still trading towards the end, Brahmer hit Brancalion once and flattened him...

shumenov is a go getter though, and despite his notorious controversial win over campillo, he is doing all the right things to advance his career, especially with that win over world rated uzelkov (who flattened campllo).

I think Brahmer will beat Shumenov and Cleverly will beat Brahmer in a thriller.

Clev would have to show us something we've not seen from him so far if he was to take on Breahmer - a watertight defence. It's ok taking shots from a non puncher like Brancallion and a super middle like Murat but let's see how he does when a genuine power puncher lands one on his beard. if he takes it and comes through it then fair play to him and he will have silenced many of the doubters like me.

I'm also not sure Clev hits hard enough to keep someone like Breamher off him - don't forget he landed flush on Brancallion and Murat a number of times and I know he stopped them but that was more through volume than anything else.

Don't get me wrong, I think Clev's done great, but he hasn't fought anyone who can really punch yet so for there's a question mark still there for me. Is his chin THAT good. Let's see...

Just watched the press conference. Was a ball ache because of the sound quality but got through a lot of it.

Sure Warren mentioned Joe McNally fighting. Great to see the lad back in action.

Thought Clev came across as a bit of a pr*ck. Too smug for my liking.

Can't wait for the Smigga fight. Solely rooting for Paul, and I hope Degale doesn't get booed because behind all the bravado I think he comes across well.

I met James Degale backstage at the recent Debra show and I have to say, the guy was a complete gent - happy to chat away and was a pleasure to be around. He gets a lot of stick and sometimes that's justified, but underneath he came across as a knowledgeable, passionate guy and a good lad generally.

I see him outpointing Smith in a very tough fight but I've a lot of respect for Smith as well, it's a real tough one to call. I think they both deserve credit for taking the fight at the respective stages of their careers.

I personally don't see why Cleverly and Bellow don't fight each other on this card. There obviously struggling to find them credible opponents, and the longer it goes on and the closer it gets to the event, then the worse the opponents will be.
