It says that Andy Lee was born in London. Doesn`t that make him British :(

Wherever he is from, people obviously don`t think he is up to much.

Fair play, that should kill it.

You can't discuss certain fighters here without it turning into another monotonous thread. They always seem to follow the same sort of theme with an increasingly slight variation...

Irish guy bad
No Irish guy good
No he's not
He's better than English guy
No hes not
Is so
Anyway, Irish guy is English
No he's not
well British then etc etc
My last post on matter, your wrong
so he is British
No he's not, prove your right
No you prove im wrong. And I thought it was your last post.
(repeat from start)

Slap Bang Whallop is the main culprit for that.
I'm an Irish boxing fan but I agree, this fight is a joke. The worrying thing is, it's not that Lee is protected, it's that his team clearly haven't much confidence in him.

The main culprit for what exactly? Are you still bitter because I dont rate Andy Murray?

you are always at the centre of this boring debate, i pulled you up on it before, you cant help yourself.

unfortunately for you, many of us find it boring, however some find it entertaining to dangle out a bit of bait and watch you bite.

Everytime.

Sorry if it seems harsh but thats the truth. Just trying to help.

You've lost me know. The centre of which debate? Biting on what bait?

I'll settle for boring and right over entertaining and wrong any day.

Thanks for your offer of help though - much appreciated!

Tonight, the same night that Irish middleweight Andy Lee is disgracefully undermatched in the States, Irish lightweight prospect Andy Murray faces a good test against John Nolasco of the Dominican Republic in Ireland, scheduled for 10 rounds.
The rangy, unbeaten Murray, a former top class amateur with every shot in the book, has been hitting hard of late but at 27 his career really needs to get moving, and an impressive win over the seasoned, rugged but inactive Nolasco will help.
Nolasco represented his country in the 1996 Olympics in the States, where he subsequently turned pro and mixed it with men of the calibre of Steven Luevano, Martin Honorio and Jason Litzau, on the way to points defeats. (Nolasco has never been stopped.) However, the 35-year-old Nolasco did his best work at featherweight and only moved up to lightweight quite recently. Worse, he has fought just three times (all wins) since the world class Litzau took a split decision over him over 10 rounds in California in July 2005.
The nephew of the late Pedro Nolasco, the first Dominican ever to win an Olympic medal (boxing bronze in 1984), John brings a solid 18-4-4 (8) tab to Ireland but he is not a huge puncher and probably past his best, and the bigger, sharper, fresher Murray looks likely to punch out a hard-earned decision.

Its tonight.

and it just shows how much Bennie talks out his arse cos Nolasco is fĂșcked and hasnt won a real fight in five years. But carry on Bennie ya clown.

The only men with a decent match up on the McCloskey card are the Cubans, Alexei Acosta and Luis Garcia.
