I'm not sure that you have enough conviction to actually speak your mind to another man. I know you can 'say' whatever you'd like on 'the internet' but when a brave man is disagreeing with you; do you think you will stand your corner or will you get off to shag 'tight asian pussy' like some others names withheld who hold strong opinions about people they have never, or are likely to meet?
You PM'ed me and explained Teddy's situation and I was willing to let this go - you want to carry this on Simon? Fine by me.
What Teddy said was out of order, whatever happened to him in that police cell in Yorkshire had nothing to do with Howard Daley. It is as simple as that, as I am sure you are a reasonably intelligent individual with decent analytical skills - you would concur that to say what Teddy did to Howard on an internet forum - an internet forum where Howard has always behaved impeccably - was bang out of order! There was no need for it and to call Howard a coward when all evidence is to the contrary is wrong. Simple as that.
As for me shagging 'tight Asian pussy' (or talking about the subject with others on an internet forum) and that you are not - sorry about that - I am sure you and Teddy have a nice life together in other departments though!

Better luck in your next life.

If Carlos is into a bit of Asain then im certainly not going to discredit his achievements on that department

, wheras i would say i too have some very bad police experience , very bad , but i would never hold howard responsible for that , although i guaranteei get arrested everytime i see the officer in question i cant really say i hate coppers , ive had 2 familly members who have had spells in the police , and coming from my familly that is absolute nuts .
Teddy i suggest your issue is with specific police officers without knowing your situation , of which i would guarantee they were not Howard Daley

As this is boxing forum and not a political soapbox I won't launch into a lengthy critique of the highly politicised role the police play in society. What has happened and is still happening to me is just a microcosm of a much bigger issue about police accountability in a putatively democratic society. Even if Daley hasn't indulged in criminal behaviour himself , and that could be a big "if", having served on a riot squad he will have seen his colleauges commiting criminal acts of violence upon members of the public and, although paid and entrusted to uphold the law by the public, would have turned a blind eye to that criminality. Why? For an easier life in job? Because it's not the done thing to hold fellow officers up to the same standards of lawful behaviour that people like you and I are expected to adhere to? Whichever way you look at it, it's moral cowardice. Here endeth the sermon.

My problem was you calling me a prick. Fortunately I don't give a flying one what you think about whether I'm a prick or about my boxing. Introduce yourself if you see me at a show (if you go to shows) and you can tell me all about why you think i'm a prick.
I didn't call you a prick ?! You've stated numerous times your no longer a plod, however I did in my second posts as your attitude stunk
I'll gladly Introduce myself
You and me both "the truth". By the way "defecatingdaily" thinks we're one and the same person.

Carlos's increasingly juvenile, ad hominem, attacks are beneath contempt Simon. Don't "feed the troll". He is clearly an individual struggling with his own personal issues and demons. :geek2:

Does that include all the real men you lost to in the ring as opposed to the 7 stone junkies, drunks and kids you and your ever so brave colleagues usually like to throw their weight around with? The police are bullies, and like all bullies they are cowards. (quote)
There have been 333 deaths in police custody since 1998.
How many ring deaths since 1998; (when there is a level playing field)?

Depends on the definition of a hero/criminal doesn't it though.
I mean lets say I was to do over a bank, I hold a load of innocent bystanders at gunpoint, make off with millions in cash, blast my out through the police maybe take a couple of them out THEN I give the money I've stolen to underpriviliged kids or something like that, in the eyes of the law and the right-wingers I'll go down as a murderous thief, but in the eyes of the less fortunate I'd go down as a hero. Get what I'm saying? There's two sides to every story, sure there are evil bastards out there but not every criminal is evil, laws made by rich men define what is good and bad but it doesn't make them right though does it?

I think they deserve our support, everyone can be rehabilitated, we shouldn't brand someone for life just because they were once in the police.

The law hangs the man, and flogs the woman, that steal the goose from off the common
But lets the greater villain loose, that steals the common from under the goose.

Where did you read that? I saw it in 'Century of Revolution' by Christopher Hill, and it always stuck in my mind

I told you that. It's a verse about the enclosure acts of the 18th and 19th centuries which seized the commons from the rural population and handed them over to the landowners. :geek2:

it predates the 18th Century, I'm certain of that. Enclosures do to, although the wholesale era of enclosure was indeed in the 18/19th

I've lost all faith in our justice system, now people won't like what I have to say but there my opinions and I'm entitled to em.. Firstly tell me how a man who robs a post office were the money is insured gets 11yrs and a child sex offender touches children and gets 18 months!! The guy who robbed a post office done it with a banana in his pocket and told staff it was a gun, I don't condone what he done but I know it's a disgrace comparing his sentence with the paedo's sentence!! It really enfuriates me!!
Another one is the case of Jamie Bulger, explain to me how them kids are walking the streets an one of them has been convicted recently of having images of children on his computer!! Them 2 should be in solitary confinement for the rest of there lives no questions asked, personally I think the 2 of them should have been stoned to death by Mrs Denise Bulger..
Another one is, my mrs is driving along with my two young boys in the car, a car clips my mrs car and the women drove away, my mrs stops calls the police follows all the procedures has witnesses and yet the police do nothing to the women!! They have closed the case and sided with her?? Were is the justice in that?? I had a similar incident happen to a friend a few years ago an he got banned and a criminal record for driving away from the scene of a crime!! Our justice system is a disgrace!! It's appalling!!
As for coppers I'll be honest most of the lot I've come across have been sound and you can speak to em ok, I've had the odd toss pot but there are things you can say to them and theyll be shocked and take a different approach with you, certain rights you have!! I've put it to them a few times and they just look at you shocked with no answer..
Like I said there my views on our justice system.. As for who wins with ex copper or ex con then I'd say as long as neither is a nonce I hope the best man wins ;)
Rant over for me ;)

Make sure you introduce yourself first though so I don't think its some random person approaching me and making me fear harm because I may then have to hurt you. Like I said I have never hurt anyone who I didn't believe had the intention of hurting me. I don't count hurt feelings in the same catagory as physical harm :-)
