Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Fair play Dilks for working himself back into it, Smyle deserves that though.

What would happen if it was scored 29-29 on all three cards?
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Right result thankfully.
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
I wonder if Dilks could make middle? I know he posts on here so maybe he can answer when back....

Seen a couple of Smyles early fights, and he's much improved. Keeps his hands up better now and doesn't load up on his punches as much. Cuts the ring off well.

I wondered that when the Ainscough fight could have been 28-28. So it seems the answer is that they go to the randomiser.keithmoonhangover wrote:What would happen if it was scored 29-29 on all three cards?

edit : smyle i mean , around 2 years ago .
Yeah from Leicester mate but not sure about the white collar boxing: I've never trained in the same gym as him but since he's from Leicester I'm routing for him - and he's got the style to win it!

Webb v Smyle will make me stay up past my bedtime ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Good idea having this midweek. I know this is due to lack of football, but would be nice to keep it this way and have usual fights at weekend.
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Yeah, I always thought prizefighter is completely wrong for a fighter like reid with a low workrate and relatively static footwork. It makes me think say if Eubank entered it, someone who liked to fight at his own pace, it wouldn't be a formality over 3 rounds.MachoMan09 wrote:Rob has been an old fighter for years. All the way back when he was on the BBC with the WBF fights he was well on the slide. Still sad to see, though, I agree.bfchunk wrote:the Reid one was bit sad to see
Good win for Smyle that BTW.

Yeah, how do you think IJL got his 30-28 card? They press a button and each boxer gets a score between 30 and 27.keithmoonhangover wrote:"The randomiser?"Scottrf wrote:I wondered that when the Ainscough fight could have been 28-28. This show how unpredictable Prizefighter is.
The most experienced fighter to go through to the the semi-finals has an 8-2-1 record.

Smyle wins this now i reckon , i was impressed with him there so im jumping on his bandwagon
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Right man got the nod in Smyle, IMO. What grit from both!
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Its enjoyable tonight! As most fights have been 50:50. Fancy Fielding v Smyle final
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Webb looked slower in later rounds against Reid!MachoMan09 wrote:Do you not think his output will drop significantly in the next one? Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
I'd go for Fielding vs Smyle final, Smyle win. Depends how much he tires I think.
Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
Ainscough out, cut to ribbons and bashed about 1st round; showed a lot of bottle but Fielding looked better this fight than last.

Re: Tonight's Prizefighter thread - post here!
gutted for him but dont think he was going to get a win there , and the cut rightly caused the stoppage .
Fielding will have preserved some energy there

Sorry to say I'm not really as he didn't deserve to be in the semis anyway.damianhucker1 wrote:gutted for him
