They really should do these press conferences at night time after the watershed or put them on a slight delay and bleep out any swearing as it is utterly frustrating when they constantly cut it off. Happens every time.

I know! I can't imagine any boxing fans being offended by aggressive behaviour or bad language given the nature of the sport.

Back to the first press conference - why does Haye think this is a much bigger and more sellable fight that the Vitali one. Wlad might be the fighter with the ring belt, but there is f all between them in the rankings and at least Vitali fought fairly recently in the states and people do have more respect for him there.

Haye said Wlad was a control freak and Wlad said Haye will become bum number 50 when he gets knocked out.

They'll put on a Ringside, which they edited it wasn't live, with James DeGale offending loads of bods with his comments re George Groves, yet they won't show a press conference to advertise two men attempting to beat each others' brains out (hopefully), which they will sell the arse out of. The self styled politically correct have absolutely no idea.

I must admit I did laugh at that.

Personally I like what Haye has had to say, mainly because he's being REAL, he tells it how it is and he's got a very positive attitude with an abundance of self-belief.
Wlad on the other hand seems to be putting on a stupid act, coming out with comments like 'lets change the H to a G and make him the Gayemaker' it's just not him so whats he trying to achieve.
Hayes talking about Wlads weaknesses and how he's going to target them and destroy him, Wlads talking about all the British fans( who won't be supporting him).
Basically I'm glad my money's going on Haye.

To be honest, from experience of Wlad over the years, he pretty much is being himself. He's got a sense of humour that only he seems to get and he doesn't care if anyone else gets it or not. An odd lad is Wlad. I find him quite likeable though. Very laid back and very confident. Very bright too.

Wlad's a decent guy away from the cameras too. As to his perceived lack of 'edge': I think he comes across pretty well in his fifth language; better than some of the trash talking semiliterates do in their first.

vitali - comes across well...balanced, intelligent and with a sense of humour..doesn't take himself too seriously...
