I don't want it to seem like it's a big gang-up on you Karl but please arguably Britians most capable heavyweight???? I'm not sure who would argue for chisora, maybe family members.

Chisora's ex-girlfriend argued and look what happened to her.

The point is - you said i had made a rediculous statement when it is quite clearly FW's standard stye of matchmaking. Larry and mitchell both lost fights they were expected to win - warren then offers them both shots against the number 1's at that division in his stable. Its a sink or swim situation again. And Chisora is no murray either he's a 14 fight novice as we kept saying when he was supposed to be fighting Wlad. Larrys had 10 fights - theres not that much in it experience wise.

Chisora has at least as much talent as Price and Fury, and Haye is off the radar. Of course it's arguable.

Lets not forget Fury was fighting with a damaged hand in that fight too. I dont think any version of Chisora would have beaten fury to be completely honest. When you look at Chisoras acheivements - hes beaten sexton, a completely knackered Danny Williams who should never have stepped in the ring that night and then he got beaten by fury. Its not that impressive.

He's had 15 fights, of course it's not impressive. Still think an in-shape Chisora beats both Fury and possibly Price.

With what evidence?

Evidence? This is boxing, man. We watch them box and then appraise their attributes. It's all speculation.
If you want something tangible, look at round 2 of the Chisora - Fury fight. A better conditioned Chisora can fight at that pace, or near to it for most of the fight instead of just 3 or 4 rounds.

I went to the fight and he had about 10 secs with windmills in 2 rounds. I hope more than anything Larry knocks him out so he can go and join Audley in some reality show, think it would have to have food involved, masterchef or something.
He's a disgrace to the fans who pay money to see him fight. I'm once bitten twice shy personally. I reckon he'll come in even heavier against Larry. What will the excuses be then?

Chisora doesn't throw enough punches to beat Fury.

Against Sexton he threw shitloads of punches. 20 pounds extra and the numbers declines, obviously.

Its true his work rate usually pretty good but i also think he found it alot harder to get his shots off on a larger and akward tyson. Which is why he opted to throw loads of punches when he got the chances.

That and the fact that Fury is a much better boxer than Chisora or Sexton.

Better than Sexton, yes. But that isn't the reason Chisora threw less punches.
It's simple stuff, Chisora's a pressure fighter who couldn't exert any real pressure (apart from in patches) because of poor conditioning. Nobody to blame but himself, but it's irrelevant in the context of capability. He's still a tough, talented fighter who badly let himself down. Not that Wlad's double cancellation helped.
I like Fury, but he's an defeat waiting to happen against a pressure opponent who can still active for 3 consecutive rounds.

Chisora output had a hell of a lot to do with the fact that Fury kept punching him in the face.

The War Machine can win this!
Chisora isn't impossible to hit and Olubamiwo has world-class heavyweight power - the kind of power that can turn any fight around with one punch.
War Machine just needs to be careful and a bit more defensive-minded than he normally is.

Does anyone know how many rounds this is going to be for as I assume it is going to be a 10 rounder at the moment or could it be yet another eliminator for the British and Commonwealth straps so Tyson Fury fights the winner of McDermott/Price and then he fights the winner of the final eliminator fights Fury once he gets passed Petjic and then this could be the mandatory after that.

World class.

good area fringe British yes but I would say the top 5 domestic fighters can take Larrys power long enough to unload there's and finish the job. boxing is all about levels and I fear Larrys isn't anywhere near Dereks I hope I'm wrong though
power is power his is respectable i think he has enough to drop most heavy weights, it just depends if he can land an accurate shot. Lets face it alot of heavies have dangerous power but if it was all about power tua would have been undisputed.

I'd give Larry an outside chance against Price, but not Chisora. Chisora's got an excellent chin.

Very silly comment. He could not get near Prices chin and would be hit ten times harder than Big John him very quickly.

The only boxer ive ever seen take a huge hit and think that man is invincible is Vitali. Everyone else one punch away from being labled chinny or finished on the forums.
Also silly post

I said 'outside chance'. What more do you want? Do you want me to go in details and give odds?
Against Chisora there's simply no chance. His chin is too good.

I never said anybody was chinny, or finished.
