Fair play, Burns looked huge at the weight, great jab, tight defense and desereved the win.

Unlucky fella :(

I too, had Katsides pegged for the win, though I don't bet.

Hope you can claw it back :TU:

Unlucky mate. My treble stake was less than I won earlier in the day so not too painful for me. If Groves can't force the stoppage you're gonna be feeling the pain!

Don't bother chasing on the boxing, you need to get onto Lithuanian football tomorrow. Kruoja to score 3+ tomorrow away against Atlantas. Price will be available in running on willie hills

Nice way to redeem. I also got on this at the end of the first round at evens with Sky and a minute later it was over! Only had £50 on though!

Was in a similar boat to you, only half of your stake but never the less, got some back on the same bet again as you, enjoy your golf.

Congrats to Ricky Burns.

Looked galvanised at 135lb, and deserved the victory.

Thought some of the scores were a bit wide, but the right man got the victory.

I got right out of jail tonight, fair play to Burns & Billy Nelson, my hat is off. They done a right number on Katsidis. I got that fight seriously wrong, Burns was huge at the weight :o Ricky was eating for two, Billy for 5 :TU:

Not quite sure i agree with the stoppage part of this post, but i do agree with the rest of this post :TU:
Me too, one is still yet to peak and the other has had more than his fair share of beatings/wars,i think Burns will have a scare or two but will come through on points, hope so anyway

hagler you always come on and give your opinions pre fight and you get it right the vast majority of the time which is not an easy thing to do. they say its easier to back a winner than tip one and I think thats true.
I hope you carry on posting your thoughts and I'm glad you clawed back the losses with the Groves fight.

I'm debating whether to get involved! I can go to bed now with a small loss on the night or lump on Angulo and wake up in the morning skint if he loses.

I have an addiction......I'm all in :TU:

I would be quite surprised if the result was anything other than Angulo by KO, but then again maybe I'm underestimating the impact that Ann Wolfe has on Kirkland's performances.

wow, results like this remind me why i very rarely bet on fights any more. I was so confident kat would walk through this guy and was seriously considering lumping on, v glad i didnt and avoided that all too familiar leaden stomach feeling...

so tell me folks, was burns hurt at all during the fight? doesn't sound like it from the rbr...and kat usually hurts everyone. Has Kat slipped that badly???

Feel like a right c*nt after that. I found myself betting in live play on Burns by the 5th round at 6/4 to get my money back

Boxing can be unpredictable sometimes. Groves knocking Smith out inside a 2 rounds and Burns winning on points vs Kats was not in the script!
