What do you consider to be "constructive"?

I post my opinion on matters like I thought everyone else was. Whose posts in this thread do you consider to be more constructive?

He used the term "black". Most reasonable people would accept that applies to people of African descent. I don't recall an industrial scale slave trade in Europeans that lasted until the 19th century. Or any other "colour". Racism is an idiot's outlook, there is after all only one race on this planet, the human race. :geek:
You can't relate all racism to slavery, though I do understand your point. For instance, in Europe the Slavs (not slaves) were subject to high levels of racism. Religion is a major factor too. It's a bottomless pit of a subject
I agree. But in relation to using the term "black" in a pejorative way, then the context clearly is one of European exploitation and enslavement of most of the African population. When, or if, Mr.Fury indulges in racial stereotyping of other ethnic groups, we will at least know he is an equal opportunities racist. :TU:

Horse is good at asking questions. :P

For what it's worth, Fury's Twitter account won't have been hacked. What they mean is that someone guessed his password. It's unlikely, but possible. I don't believe it. At least he has deleted the tweet and doesn't stand by what he said. He probably didn't even mean it, but was just angry.

Deserter, do you consider your posts in this thread to be constructive?

I think that you should have a read through them and have a think about just how much you contributed.

Well said Larry.
Agreeing with Larry.

What an absolute load of garbage this thread/discussion is. Fury gets more grief on here for his ethnicity than is acceptable and personally I didn't find the original comment in the slightest bit racist? My friends and I say much more controversial things to each other on a regular basis (being a mixed race multicultural group) and for me this is just sensationalist rubbish. And despite being a huge Tony Bellew fan am I the only one who find's it ironic that he is criticizing other fighters for their comments and behaviour? Pot, Kettle, (final word moderated in case some accuse me of racism).

It takes seconds to send a tweet on your phone. It is hard to believe that report of it being hacked because Fury has said so many things on those lines.

That article is horribly written and is a terrible article and doesn't strengthen the argument about his twitter getting hacked.

Also, if his twitter was hacked, wouldn't his facebook page be hacked into aswell or targeted aswell.

Double standards ? or part time racist drama queens
If it's the exact same posters in both instances then fair enough, if not then that's a very hollow argument.

To say because some posters on a website didn't condemn the use of those slurs that others can't pull up Fury on his comments would mean next time someone used P!KEY or Gypp0 they could say no travellers can protest because of what Fury said.

If you're going to take exception to the terms P!KEY or Gypp0, which clearly you do, then you have to take the high ground and condemn any racism. Otherwise it's you who is being a hypocrite.

Reading that back sounds like I'm having a dig at you personally, which wasn't the intention. Just that two wrongs don't make a right.
The point i was making in my post was that everyman and his dog on this forum have had a dig and a giggle at the racist comments made toward Furys ethnicity !
Gypsy's and travelers get none stop racist abuse on here and this is deemed as socially acceptable yet as soon as any slight comment is made toward blacks these same posters get their knickers in a twist over it
Its hypocritical thats all i am saying .

I am in total agreement with you. Bellew should know better really, would he have jumped for the pitchforks so quickly if it was a fellow scouser, or FW fighter?

To be honest, if Fury's son is critically ill and he has been at his hospital bedside for the last 2 weeks, I'd imagine the last thing on his mind is tweeting abuse at some idiot over the internet. The comment itself was a stupid one to make rather than overtly racist but I can see why people would be offended. That said, let's not overreact here.
