spot on. However i didnt feel i was conned when haye didnt produce against wlad. I only felt conned that he had promised us he was going to try his best to beat the klitschkos then after a bad showing (which was still the best showing of any recent K2 opponent) retired. I paid money to follow his career on that promise; to retire without fulfilling it could be called a con or at the very least a mugging off of his fans. If haye is going to go back and give it his all then he has fulfilled his promise regardless of if he losses in the 1st round imo.
Sonsowski and Adamek went out on their sheild. Sosnowski might have even won a couple of rounds against Vitali - but at least both clearly fought their heart out.
whats your point? would you rather watch a vitali v Adamek rematch?

He was never going to retire if he lost so I don't know why he bothered so much. No way did he want to bow out on the back of the Wlad loss. Lets hope this happens and he shuts his gob and turns up this time and puts on a show.

Couldn't agree more. I give him more of a chance than most but still only a slim chance. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he won't have a chance of winning this fight unless he is prepared to go to war with Vitali which means standing and trading with him. This may well result in him being knocked out but the cautious approach he took against Wlad will result in him losing a wide u/d.

money talks these days, plus the fight is marketable compared to some of the other fights out there. This will be big, very big despite what some people are trying to say.

The Vitali stoppage is very big at 9/4. I guess the bookies are banking on Haye running like he did in the Wlad fight.

he only had 6 hw fights and 3 of them were exciting and one lasted about 8 minutes. So thats not really true is it.

Which 3 were exciting? I'm assuming Barrett-Haye is in there, but all of Haye's other fights at HW have been either completely one-sided or wanting in action.

A one sided win is an ideal result for the fighter surely. Whilst wanting in action would suggest both fighters were at fault.
Haye can't be to blame for it all.....

Who is saying that Haye is at solely at fault for his bouts that lacked action? Who is saying that he shouldn't have dominated his opponent?

That quote alone doesn't imply that Haye is solely responsible for how exciting (or not exciting) his bouts have been.
As far as my posts are concerned, I'm not ascribing blame to any fighter, I'm just unsure about which three of Haye's HW bouts were exciting.

My point was that Haye's "effort" against Wlad wasn't the best showing of any recent K2 opponent.
No I wouldn't rather watch a Vitali vs Adamek rematch - but I wouldn't like to see a Wlad vs Haye rematch either. I would be equally happy with Adamek vs Wlad as Haye vs Vitali.... Neither deserve an immediate shout.

The suspense came from seeing if Haye could KO Ruiz. :idea:

The top sentence has nothing to do with Haye being vulnerable though, and as you stated before you found Ruiz-Haye to be exciting due to Haye's vulnerability. You're right that anyone in the HW division can get clipped, but Ruiz has never shown any sort of meaningful power, especially in his later years, and it became very clear early on that he was not hurting Haye.
It's all subjective so your opinion is perfectly fair, but I find it difficult to call more than one of Haye''s HW bouts exciting. If fights are exciting simply because a fighter is vulnerable, then the HW division is littered with fighters who are great to watch.

None of them were exciting. We knew he was going to blow away Harrison, Bonin and Barett, and the Ruiz, Valuev and Klitschko fights weren't really entertaining fights at all.
He's very much a safety first fighter at HW, masked somewhat by abysmal hand-picked opponents.

Is this how allegedly expects to sell some of those subscriptions? Buy up Haye v Klitschko (use the links to Groves as way to get it) and sell them on the back of it?...very, very risky.
