Chisora is a loon for sure .. but he walked up to Haye, to no doubt, insult and wind Haye up. Hence why he took the microphone with him.
Haye then fired off a couple punches ... Haye is 100% guilty.
If Chisora had slapped Haye or spat water onto him ... some of the blame could have been shared.
No. Haye is the guilty party here.
As for threats to shoot or burn him. Come on

Haye was being his usual parasite self. Trying to get himself a big pay day on the back of Chisoras gallant showing.

Chisora ain't that much cop, but he's clearly got a good chin.
I've no doubt Haye could stop him, from accumulation of shots, but I don't see him just bombing him out of there.
Chisora was hanging on against Fury. It was due to accumulation of shots but he was hanging on a couple of times.
As for Vitali, I thought he looked crap against Kingpin and Sosnowski. Adamek looked like a little boy against him such was the size difference and the Pole had almost lost to Grant not too long before.
I have had little brother as number 1 for yonks. Always thought Vitali was the "easier" fight for Haye.
He is there for the taking I tells ya!

Up to you that you have Wlad as number 1, and up to debate as to which is the easier fight for Haye.
But to say Grant almost beat Adamek isn't accurate at all. Thats practically as unaccurate as those claims that Byron Mitchell was robbed against Ottke.
Adamek won the fight comfortably enough, sure it wasn't the performance of a future heavyweight world champion - but its wasn't close and neither was Adamek close to being floored.

Now its Chisora was fighting the inferior Klitchsko and he's been that way for a while.
Vitali suffered a serious injury and fought with it for 11 rounds. That was going to have a HUGE HUGE bearing on his performance..... don't count him as "finished goods" just yet.
He was poor yes, but he was handicapped also.
Agreed, there has been no correlation made between Chisora's apparently above standard performance and Vitali's injury yet. It's clear they a linked.
Absolutely, nobody will ever say Matthew Barney did a good job beating (just) a one armed Dean Francis... yet Chisora losing handily to a one armed Klitchsko is getting lots of plaudits.
I think a two handed Helenius is a tougher ask than a one armed Vitali.

Thats not how it is, why should a trained fighter leave the pub when threatened. If you were in that situation and left the pub because you were going to get a kick in thats self preservation and sensible, if you can take the other guy out if he causes trouble then why leave? Its that type off attitude which has allowed thugs and bullies to become dominant in the UK, people run scared instead of showing some balls. If you went over to the guy or eyeballed him thats looking for trouble, not leaving is called standing your ground.

i know exactly what his work is about, i think its you who's struggling to understand it. Or do you think the worlds top martial arts instructor and infamous doorman made his reputation running away from fights. Wouldnt have been a very good doorman would he?
The book is about him being bullied as a kid and being assaulted, taking up martial arts and becoming a doorman to master his fear, then taking it too far to become the bully and his journey to free him from that. One of the main points of the book is about turning fear into the ability to inflict damage on your opponent.
Realising you dont need to smash everyone head in not to be scared isnt the same as being frightened to have a drink in the pub if someone scares you and running away. Infact it is teaching you the opposite - moderation or middle ground. If anything i live my life alot like his teachings.

What do the cops think about a "trained fighter" going about scrapping all the time?

Yeah mate of course, its the old my areas tougher than yours argument. If you lived in a rough area and backed out of fights you would learn the hard way that thugs will feed off your weakness and will see you as prey. Andys from cov im sure he probably can find some people that know me depending on his age. 90% of the time not showing fear stops a fight rather than creating it, the rest of the time you have to make a decision weather you are in danger or can take the other guy out. Its not unusual for someone from an estate or a chavy town to be involved in lots of fights or have had the odd brush with the law, i dont see what your point is.

I take it you've read one book KingFinn. Read some more, read some articles on his website, listen to some podcasts, watch some videos on YouTube. Read his latest book Warrior you'll see what i mean. Even with the self defense/ martial arts stuff he teaches voilence as a last resort. He teaches self control and how to control a situation so it DOESN'T result in fighting. His self defense Advice is 1 don't be there 2 if your there run away 3 if your there and you can't run, control the situation, avoid voilence at all costs 4 if there's absolutely no other choice hit first and as hard as you can.
Complete opposite to what you thought eh?

Thats his self defense advice, when i teach my mates how to fight i say the same stuff. Please explain how that advice would be any good to a doorman? Controling a situation and then being able to inflict damage if it fails is his advice, lets not beat around the bush geoff thompson hasnt ran away from anyone who hasnt been carrying a gun since he took up martial arts.
I've never said violence im my first resort im disciplined as are most fighters but if i think it needs to be used it will be used. I dont belive in running away from a situation you can win or avoiding something you would usually do just because theres a bully who might kick off.
Admittedly i do also leave the "controlling the situation" part out on occassions too. I didnt say i was perfect.

You live the complete opposite to his teachings. You think there's two choices smash someone up or run away. You really need to read some more. Watch my back is a great book and yet your copying the mistakes he made when you could be copying the lessons learned. If you'd learned anything you'd have learned that channelling your fears into violence only expands the fear in you.

stop grasping at straws - your psychology lesson would be great but 2 things,
1. people who have been violent who then become men of peace are often hypocritical and can afford to be peaceful now because they have massive reputations backing them. Trust me at the back of GT's mind he loves knowing he's got that reputation. Who would Geoff rather be the man he is now or the scared teen?
2. i think you have me mistaken for someone who's out on the town every night fighting, in my younger years maybe so but as i said im a 30 year old family man and insurance broker i also look like a bit of softy. difference is im not scared to have a drink in the pub and can defend myself when needed, i dont need to run away, I dont even have fear when fighting its not something that consumes me, fear changes to energy something you can embrace.
What you have to remember is Geoff Thompson is looking at things from the perspective that he had done some horrific things and had a soul crushing fear of being intimidated, not just given the odd yob a bit of an ass whooping. I dont have such issues - i have a middle ground which im happy with.
And due to my opinions i think Haye was right to react the way he did. He reacted the way any fighter would. You admire the sport so how can you complain about the mentality that creates a fighter?

Yes going back to the brawl which is what the thread is about I just made the observation that haye chose to fight because you were saying over and over that he had no choice which is rubbish. I've absolutely nothing against a fighters mentality, I effin love a fighters mentality their putting it on the line in front of millions of people and showing levels of fortitude and discipline that I can only admire. But we've been talking about pub fights which is not a fighters game it's a hooligans game.
