OK, lets try something else seeing as your having a bit of difficulty understanding how facts are determined.

What, in your 'insider' opinion, caused this gross act of incompetence to happen, after 4 and a half years of flawless officiating?

No offence taken. You dont have to take my word for it at all. It is a fact though. Its fact that a hearing in front of the Midlands area council cleared Mr Fallon of any corruption or underhanded tactics. I may be better placed to give an opinion about Martin having known him for the last 10 years thats all. I have nothing to prove or gain from giving you an informed opinion.

@ Dan

I have no idea why he trew a wobbler. I think it could have got a bit much for him with the action that was unfolding and he just lost the plot.

Is it true that Enzo Calzaghe was showing Board Inspector and BoxRec legend 'The Law' a file full of his First Aid certificates which he lost his grip of and happened to drop on the bell at exactly the same moment as Enzo got chinned?

Just something I heard...these things happen.

I can confirm that 'The Insider' has indepth knowledge of this situation and knows everyone involved in the case. The points he raised are valid and have proven to be correct in the investigation. Martin Fallon is one of the most honest guys in British boxing and his integrity is unquestionable. No doubt he made a very silly error but there was nothing underhand going on. I also know Martin personally.

Respectfully, doesn't mean shit to me. I'm not saying he's corrupt.

What caused him to end a round at 2.18? When Enzo was well gone?

It was a genuine (yet silly) mistake. His clock/watch was not correctly maintained (which is his fault) and as a result he lost track of time in an eventful first round. Consequently he has been suspended until 1st January 2013 and ordered that he undertake further training.

Stupid mistakes can and do happen by officials in all sports. The board has thoroughly investigated the matter and action has been taken. Everyone who knows Martin Fallon can vouch for his integrity.

You tell us? You accept he's not corrupt, you've been told (and its been proven at the hearing) he was incompetent. If you know something we don't I'd love to hear it.

Thanks chief.....

With an opinion piece you are always likely to get some heat coming back. Unless of course you do bland, mainsteam safe opinions, but then, what is the point?.

I will keep saying what I see (Roy Walker styleee) and I will continue to argue my opinion with anyone who thinks I am talking shit, as long as it is done in a non-personal manner.... :box:

Only question is, what the hell am I gonna talk next week???????????

Nothing wrong with opinion pieces and pieces that are non mianstream. You're right about the criticism though, my DeGale/Groves piece which focussed on Internet contributers that I wrote for here took a slating lol - albeit mainly on Eastside no not sure if that counts

Keep churning it out I say - if McNeilly didn't like it, it wouldn't go up

Exactly - should have said 'if he thought it was rubbish' not 'didnt like it'.

You know what I mean - and you also know my views on opinion pieces
