Horse, a serious question. Why do you continue to come on here? Surely it can't be a pleasant experience given your unpopularity? Let me make it clear, I'm not disputing your right to stay on here or infering that you should move to another forum, i'm genuinely curious as to what possible pleasure you can derive from your current forum usage?

I don't receive this sort of pathetic attack on every thread.

I watch boxing and I want to discuss it. There are only a handful of other boxing forums and BoxRec seems as good as any.

When have I been 'rude and nasty' ? I've merely pointed out what is already self evident, you are a deliberately provocative troll.

If you had an iota of pride you would retire from the forum of your own volition, failing that I feel a permanent ban would be most expedient.

No one likes you Horse, go away.
Who were you? The "ESB farce" last a few days, why would you get rid of your account because of that?

They mostly posted on their Choi thread, they were fairly harmless.

No one likes me? It doesn't really matter if people like me, most people on here are willing to engage in civilized discussion with me. I won't leave the forum because a few insult flinging, name-callers mock me.

Perhaps I will be banned. I think that would be unfair, but there is not much that I can do about it if the moderators decide to kick me off.

I don't think someone deserves three months in prison for an attack that barely damages the other person. Community service seems like it is enough punishment to me.

Is that really so unreasonable?

Have you ever witnessed a man attacking a woman?

What do you think someone has to do assault wise to get 3 months?

Cuts or other damage that is longer lasting. Although intent should also be taken into account.

Yes, I am not saying it is pleasant or that he shouldn't be punished. But, I don't he needs to go to prison for what he did.

This is all on the assumption that she didn't suffer significant injury, which I am not certain of.

Ostinato wrote:You've already made the ridiculous statement regarding the duration of the physical injuries, but how do you quantify the mental damage, how do you quantify the damage to the children who witnessed the assault, because these intangibles are invisible to the naked eye does this qualify as 'barely damaged' in your world?

I cannot believe that you seriously mean the statement above, as I've said before in the thread you're on a wind up trying to evoke a reaction (as you do so often) it's one thing creating dissent about boxing/boxers but domestic violence is not suitable material for 'humour'

You're a moron Horse and the forum would be a better place without you (if that's me being 'rude and nasty' so be it)

Whats gone on here? Why all the madness over the guy Horse giving his opinion? I agree with a lot of the points you make horse, Iv seen a lot worse done only to them recieve a lot less. And vice versa seen people treated harshly for crimes i dont see as that bad. Id be intrested to see the extent of this ladys injuries by floyd, because i have no doubt in my mind if he wasnt Floyd mayweather he'd have not been given a jail term. I only flicked through the thread so if horse has said something outrageous im sorry.

Right so you've spent the last couple of days arguing a point which only exists in your own imagination as there is no basis to what you think might have happened?

I think he got taken to task for threatening her life as well, am sure I read that was part of his attack but cant be bothered checking.
I think the injuries from the attack would have to last more than a week.

I think getting sent to prison is a serious thing and we should be trying to keep people out of there if possible. A few hundred hours community service seems to be a reasonable punishment for blowing up and hitting his girlfriend.
DaveBoyMorrison wrote:Finally, have you ever witnessed a man who can handle himself beat up a woman?
No. Does a man need to be able to handle himself to beat up a woman? I don't think a man being a boxer makes beating a woman worse if the damage done to the woman is the same as that done by a non-boxer.

Thanks, I was just checking if you were serious. Now I know your just an idiot I can put you on ignore.
