Re: Donaire/Nishioka & Alvarado/Rios RBR.
Anyone see Lampley in the crowd yet?
Re: Donaire/Nishioka & Alvarado/Rios RBR.
I certainly wouldn't put it that way, I was just answering you as to why he wasn't appearing in your search.victor-romeo wrote:thanks for the update,,, so bob arum dug up a stiff for Donaire to fight?Bobbyptsd wrote:He hadn't fought in over a year before this, that's why. But yes, after tonight, Nishioka will go from "Donaire's best fight at 122 with a real chance at beating him" to "a cherry picked opponent who didn't try and wasn't active anymore". You can be sure of that.

Nishioka seemed to finally gain some confidence throwing his left in the 8th, hopefully we are actually starting to see a good fight break out.

Nishioka actually landed a little in round 8 as Donaire poses but they open up at the same time again. Close round 8 but I still like Donaire

Nishioka stalking Donaire now but Donaire is moving him around the ring a bit. Both landing grazingly then solidly. Nishioka catches him against the ropes and DOWN goes Nishioka? Ref stops it because hes still wobbly

You should blame Nishioka not Arum. The Nishioka-Marquez fight was a barnburnervictor-romeo wrote:completely I blame Bob Arum for this sleeper , but with the Rios fight I don't give a darn,, the two fights on this card tonight were like night and day..Datsue wrote:Nishioka outclassed.

How did the corner stop if they ran in after Caiz stopped it?Diamond WEAPON wrote:The corner stopped it. Calm the fvck downBaby Face Finster wrote:FVCK YOU RAUL CAIZ YOU SON OF A DOG FVCKING WHORE!

You haven't really paid that much attention to Donaire's career, have you?victor-romeo wrote:i glanced away and they stopped the fight...how does this guy donaire keep getting prime time fighting these mismatches..?? He must have connections..
I wouldn't say that a guy who's faced Darchinian, Montiel, Narvaez, Vazquez jr., Mathebula and now Nishioka, along with a handful of other solid contenders, going through 4 weight classes, has had the benefit of "mismatches because of connections."
He's just damn good.
