I agree, I wish him all the best and this just may be a positive step forward for a fighter that has gone nowhere near to where i think he should be at.

i know he was off for over 2 years, but had a badly broken arm that he kept re-injuring from what i was told.

On the realistic side of things he (Haumono) only beat up a retired K1 fighter who in 6 fight's had a lucky home decision Vs Welliver. All honestly the jap was a "tomato can" waiting to be squished. Im glade Sol did it and did it the right way buy totally destroying him

Where did you get the impression the jap's win over Welliver was a home town decision? I'd suggest you watch the fight.

Hopefully Solo can now push on now that he has some momentum behind him. The OPBF title should push him up the WBC rankings and no doubt attract bigger and better fights for him! Be a shame to see him slip back into inactivity now

FFS, where was the towel from his corner. If a fighter says he cant go on anymore, he really means that he wants out. Then the hands went down and he backed up to the ropes, that could have been fatal as solo wound up the right and pretty much had a free shot.
Cornerman and referee should have a big word with themselves there.

Japan does better in lighter weight divisions. In their current P4P list the biggest man in the top 10 is a lightweight, most of the list are bantamweight or lower.

Haumono was actually a sparring partner for Fujimoto ahead of his bout with Nasio.
