Damnit Helenius
Haha my thoughts exactly. But then again, look how well David Rodriguez's comeback went. Maybe we can get another clean elimination out of it.

A few years ago a poster started a competition in which each participant chose an undefeated HW from those ranked in the top 100 at the time, with participants being eliminated if their fighter loses or isn't active enough. Hence, the winner of the competition is the person who chose the fighter who remains undefeated the longest (accounting for certain rules about inactivity), and the competition is still going.

At this rate surely Wallische is favoured to take this.

As long as he is content with defending his German championship, he (and I) win this easily.

I'm looking forward to us getting to the end, with only one man standing

then 3 years later, when an inactive fighter makes a late comeback, someone bumps this thread with the bold statement..."I'm back in the game!"

Looks like Teper could be the next to fall:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/32759831

Of course he could bomb Price out inside a few rounds but I don't think he will.

I have no horse in the race, but I'd pick Erkan Teper simply because the top guys are going to lose soon.

Maybe, but Teper has a tough fight with David Price coming up. Of course, I hope my guy Andy Ruiz wins it, but it's looking more and more like it may end up being Michael Wallisch, simply because he isn't fighting good competition and shows no signs of stepping it up. Everyone else, like you said, likely will be fighting top guys in the near future.

Deontay Wilder stays in with a tougher than expected win over Eric Molina, and Robert Helenius advances to 21-0 with an under the radar win over Beka Lobjanidze. Next up is the return of Luis Ortiz next Saturday--should be business as usual against Byron Polley. Things will get a bit interesting next month, however, as Michael Wallisch faces an interesting test against Steffen Kretschmann and Erkan Teper steps up against David Price.

Anthony Joshua 13-0
Expected to win against Gary Cornish in 3 days, who has a 21-0 record against lower boxers!
Expected to fight Dillian Whyte after that who currenly has a 15-0 record himself as well!
Joshua is expected to take over the heavyweight title in about 3 years, he's very very very impressive and has only overwelmed all expectations yet.
Nobody ever made it to the 4rth round yet and he recently fought a guy that has never been KO against Manuel Char, Dereck Chisora, Christian Hammer, Tyson Fury or Tor Hammer. That guy what Kevin Johnson and he was actually very lucky to make it to the second round.
Kevin Johnson retired right after the fight.
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03V7EOUmQGQ for the fight.
*edit: And don't forget about Vladimir Klitschko, he didn't go KO against him either.

Joseph Parker 15-0
A very serious and very active contender for the future as well.
His next opponend + his past 4 opponends combined have 133 victorys and only 13 loses behind their names.
Joseph Parker has planned 5 serious fights in 12 months.
Joseph Parker is expected to achieve a rank 5 ish of the world status in about 5 years.

Arnold Gjergjaj 28-0
A serious fighter, but for some odd reason doesn't fight any top 20 ish guy.
This guy would have been a better opponend for Deontay Wilder as Duhaupas is in my opinion.

Andy Ruiz Jr 24-0
Even though I wasn't impressed about his looks, I can't say he's a bumfighter.
He doesn't fight the real top either, but he certainly seems to have the stats from someone to keep an eye on.

Charles Martin 21-0
With 19/21 KO rating btw
He doesn't fight the top yet for some odd reason, but I do think he should, he seems to be ready for it.

Dominic Breazeale 15-0
(Stopped Yasmany Consuegra 17-0 recently)

Gerald Washington 16-0
(having a fight on 13 october against a 21-1 fighter)

Lower fighters:

Luis Ortiz 22-0
Admitted, a bumfighter till this moment, but 19/22 KO is still a very impressive rating, even against mainly bums.
He's planning to fight at 17 october and I hope he will be fighting Shannon Briggs at that time, an elderly, but still very strong rank 35 ish boxer from the US.
*This guy has once failed a drugstest after his first round KO win against Lateef Kayode.

Lateef Kayode 21-0
*This guy has fought against Luis Ortiz and lost by KO in the first round, somehow Luis Ortiz failed a drugstest and that result got dismissed.
*This guy is also often active as a cruiserweight fighter, 13 of his fights were heavyweightfights.

Michael Wallisch will defend his WBO European title against Marcin Rekowski in January. A big step up for him, maybe I won't win these sweepstakes. :oo
