I remember they were trying to get Scott Gammer for the British title. They publicly offered £100k for that fight (obviously that may not have really been offered) but Gammer turned it down. Harrison went on to lose to Sprott. Gammer went on to lose to Williams for what I would assume to be a much smaller purse than 100k.

A strange what if but I do always wish that had panned out differently, because a Harrison v Skelton fight (which would have happened had Audley not lost to Sprott) around that time would have been intriguing.

This is getting ridiculous. Thick legs act as shock absorbers!? How do the legs protect the brain when you take a punch to the chin? Hello?! Are you saying if Manny Pacquiao's legs were fatter he might of not got KO'd by JMM's right to the chin? I would think if anything thinner legs could boast a speed advantage which Tyson or Ali would tell you is very important in a boxing ring.

people are banding 6/1 around apparently, which to be fair a piece of that could cover my train, digs and £55 ticket......however, am not so comfortable laying money on boxing anymore so I don't do. I don't wanna get quids in off somebody getting sparked. I (bizarre for a boxing fan I realise) but I remember seeing Enzo get poleaxed by Afolabi right out the blue in Manchester 3 or 4 years ago and it weren't a nice thing to see when a big bloke gets dropped like that. Not sure what exactly is motivating Audley as he fights scared, surely he doesn't think there aren't other ways to earn a living. This fight sounds like the first person to get clipped could go.

When I first read that I thought it said "from the mid east", and thought "that explains the camel bit then".

My thoughts on this leg business? Christ knows, Tyson had good whiskers, Naz was dropped a lot (could be a balance thing I know) so I'm not sure either way about the thick legs controversy.

Didn't an MRI scan show Hagler's skull to be abnormally thick?

Although ive never boxed,iv never been knocked out in a fight or put down with a punch but thats more to do with never actually being caught proper clean(although iv had a few sore ones) but im a skinny pudendum with quite a long neck and looking at my own frame i know my chin would more than likely let me down if i got tagged by a trained puncher but i live in hope

I know its the first time i have,even to myself,this is actually very therapeutic
