X2; Rees didn't look near his best and Crolla was very well prepared and drilled; lightweight is a very tough division in the UK.
Put him in with Mitchell and the winner gets Burns.

So what? No other lightweight in Britain or Europe has a hope v Burns; Ricky is on a different level.

at least he wasn't out of his depth vs rees, which the bulk of british scene posters decided.

crolla must be doing something right.

so what about burns, who won't be interested anyway.

I would fancy Denis Shafikov to give burns a real go.

I agree with you, Burns is on a different level altogether.

So instead of a unification fight for Burns we see a mismatch... great.

Sorry rio; my post above was to columbo; I'm an armchair/weekend fan and I've not seen Dennis box :(

Hes certainly a more worthy opponent than crolla. However he would be one of those high risk low reward fights.

 fornicating hopeless.

So I'm wrong then, it wasn't a good show? Tell you what, forget the good points, lets jump straight into negatives. Why not.

I don't want Burns to fight Crolla, but then again the fight hasn't been made.

Yeah it was a decent show but that doesnt warrant a Burns vs Crolla matchup ..... Ps love how you get personal. Classy :TU:

Its not even been made, so why bother moaning. You skim over every good point to push your negative agenda. Look over the forums tonight, your posts are on the whole entirely negative. No need for it is there?

And sorry about calling you a whiny bastard, i didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

It's not been made but from what was said in the post fight interview there's a strong chance of it happening. You say my negative agenda but I criticise things I feel are deserving of criticism. Go and look at the Frankie Gavin thread. I had nothing but praise for him or go and look about me talking about the Smith vs Dodson fight. I said nothing negative. You criticise me for having digs at Hearn but you do the complete opposite. He can do no wrong in your eyes.

Rees v Crolla was a close fight, I thought Rees might have edged it.
On the undercard that Scott Quigg looks handy.

You do nothing but dig pal. I can't stand FW, but I always make sure I praise him when he does something good for boxing. Like the thread I started the other day. And I definitely wouldn't manufacture negative threads about them, unlike you on Matchroom.

And Hearn can do wrong, I don't think Burns has any business fighting Crolla. I personally don't think it'll be made, I don't think Eddie expected Rees to lose.

You don't like Eddie, we get it. But it affects your credibility when you don't give credit for the positives. Its all one way traffic from you.
