Eubank Jr has pulled from the bill too, unsuprisingly

I am a little suprised Haye was still sparring this close to the fight when he's in with those big lumps.

Eubank is the last of my worries. It will be interesting to see what the options are here. Money back minus booking fee or shitter bill than advertised?

Where else can they get this kind of money? It seems like a strange move to say they're moving on completely, hopefully it's just a reaction to the news but I have a feeling it isn't.

In Terry's article the quote that starts "I tell you now, I spoke to Adam [Booth] and they're not keen to get this fight on...." peaked my interest. When reading that, you can take that quote purely at face value, or you could ask whether there is the possibility that the Furys/Hennessey are trying to negotiate improved terms for a rearrangement.

I know for a fact David Haye was wearing a head guard (just like Andre Ward did before he got sliced open before original Super Six final) and it happens accidentally. Often you don't know you have been sliced until they wipe your face down.

I thought I had never seen a cut in that position before - usually cuts are right on the edge of a bone. Not that I was going to launch into a conspiracy theory. Lack of correct headgear or just immense bad luck.

Surely it's very difficult to pick up such a cut if you have big 16oz plus gloves and very protective head gear.

I guess it's just bad luck..... gutted as this was the fight I was most looking forward to.... oh well I hope it happens again and I hope that Fury trains just as hard. THat's my worry - I reckon he may have trained his hardest ever and won't find the same impetus

Couldn't blame them if they were, it's a dangerous fight for Fury. I guess we just wait and see happens, very disappointing, though.

At least in public it appears that the Fury camp have taken the initiative here. Painting Haye as the villain and announcing they're off to pastures new. Whether it's shrewdness, rashness, or a combination of the two, having that initiative is to their advantage - obviously we don't know how things are developing behind closed doors.

There will be a lot of pressure, coming from all directions, for a rescheduled fight to occur. If an extra few percent can be secured by being dismissive, good on them. Who knows? Like you say, we'll have to wait and see.

I'm looking at my ticket and I'm disappointed, but anyone saying Haye shouldn't have been sparring is talking bollocks. Haye knows how to prepare for a fight and if that means sparring, then that's his business.

Damn right, he is preparing for a fight in the best way he knows how to be in the best shape he possibly could be. He is not going to pull training targets short or not work to optimum level and time cos a few boys have booked tickets. How about if he stopped sparring nice and early to keep you guys happy, was not sharp and lost in a poor fight. Would you say it was then unprofessional to stop sparring so far out from a fight?

All saying it is unprofessional to happen a week before a fight? That is just daft. If it happened two weeks ago the fight would still be off and what would they say then? If it happened at any stage of training then the fight would have been off. What would they say then? "should not be sparring for this fight cos I have tickets and he should be professional to know he may get hurt if a guy is trying to punch him"

I'm bloody gutted and it's a real shame for the fans who've lost money but ' I think his camp wasn't going very good and they knew Tyson would do a number on him.  Now we've got to move on.' is a complete load of utter bollocks. Where else would Tyson make so much money? and he seems to be hinting the cut is has been intentionally done to escape the fight . Haye will be as gutted as anyone losing millions for fighting someone who isn't on the same level as him.
