Mayweather dances around the ring, he throws predominately single shots and he also holds slot I would call it a mater class when he does it, not all fights need to be all action combos Leonard esque to be considered a master class.

I have a spinal injury I get very tired typing... This is why I could not be bothered finishing my last message
Ok i see ur point but do not agree with it however its your opinion and i respect that

I hope he does, though I thought Eubank Jr wanted nothing to do with an etches fight. Wants to keep his 0 a little longer.

Christ, the '0' thing annoys me. Boxing is a sport, of you lose, you lose. Move on to the next match, Holyfield had the best attitude toward this kind of thing. It's what put me off the likes of Cleverly, "if I lose I'll quit". What a crock of arrogant bullshit.

I'm certain that when Eubank hits genuine Euro level his '0' will go. He lacks the stamina and power for that level. I wonder about his chin at that level too, because his defence is akin to Crystal Palace's.

I used 'level' way too much there. I'm self-admonishing.

imitated his father. Quite surprised really as I don't go for that when the man's lying prone, there again it's fighting so it probably is quite hard to change in a split second when your ego's on a high. Imitated his Dad a lot in some of his cocky posturing.
He's certainly better than he was last time I saw him, Borg was game.
I didn't like Eubank Jr's persona, or arrogance in the ring - which I'm sure they consider a good thing.
On that performance he'd get clocked when he steps up, however, he's got a lot of time to improve.

I know it's fashionable to slate Degale but to be honest, it was pretty average tonight for someone who regards himself as world class.

Some of his shot selection and switching was was slick but often unnecessary , and the fight as an overall spectacle was at best mediocre. It started brightly and I thought we were in for a good showing tonight, but it never kicked on and stayed at the same tempo for the distance.

Also that kind of slapping, cuffing offence isn't going to deter anyone on the world stage - and if anything, Degale looks poorer now than the promise he showed when he first turned professional. It's just style over substance now.

His Emmanuel Augustus showboating is still something he is doing which needs ironing out.

I'm afraid to say that Marco Periban probably beats him. The Mexican is not particularly flashy, but he is from the Librado Andrade mould, in that he can take a shot and he plugs away and is difficult to deter. Degale will likely piss around on the ropes from the outside and will drop off before the final bell and lose on points if he is not careful.

I feel for Mick actually, he's got a real pack of oddballs to promote at the minute, who all think they are the mutt's nuts and making big demands. He reigned in the sales pitch a bit tonight and his appraisal was a bit more realistic in comparison with Degale's churlish strop, like a kid after a lollipop.

I sensed they were waiting on the outcome of Froch vs Groves. If GG gets walloped , I don't think he is on any sort of deal with Matchroom and perhaps Hennessey will make a play for a rematch.

Hennessy has been involved with some serious super middleweight Froch wars like Pascal, Taylor , Kessler - and when he stands at ringside blowing smoke up Degale's ass , a little piece of him must die inside every time.

Degale has been linked with talks to one promoter after another lately, and probably has the loyalty of a tom cat towards him. If he gets a promoter offering him a gig he will likely take it. Mick should try for Groves II and if not , cash in.

I wasn't that impressed with DeGale tonight. He just didn't seem to have the accuracy. He seemed to blunder in too often, and let himself get tied up.

A bit too awkward for my liking.

I keep seeing references to TOWIE people at the fight.

Did they interview them, and I missed it? Surely they aren't famous enough to recognise them if they're just sat in the crowd?
