It is either.

1 - He is genuinely injuried.
2 - He's had an offer to fight Vitali.

Haye would have made a fortune for this fight, would very likely have smashed Fury into oblivion inside 6 rounds, and would have probably converted that to a shot at the title again.

Why on earth would he both destroy his reputation, and turn out a massive payday, against someone he has virtually every advantage over - experience, power, technique, - all Fury has is size and youth on his side.

Although this is frustrating, the suggestion Haye is scared of Fury, is frankly, ludicrous.

This will be borne out when Fury gets obliterated when he steps up against genuine heavyweights with talent and ambition.
The other point is fury is pretty much taylor made for haye and was a cherry picked opponent, he comes forward his defense isnt great and he likes a tear up. Wlad has great defensive work, a massive KO ratio, brilliant technique, and doesnt engage, he also leans all over his opponents as fury resorted to doing, thats the same wlad that couldnt put haye away. Why would haye be worried about facing fury?

Because he is getting older and not had a scrap in 17 months and feeling his age or camp not going well????

btw, im not arguing here just a suggestion

Write yourself a prescription for Citalopram, you'll be fine (you'll still know sod all about boxing but at least you'll have a smile on your face)

So now just take 1000mg of St Johns Wort each day

No it's true; I'm one of the working class plebs you read about in the literary novels of the day.

I used to work there, good jobs, well paid, unionised etc - there was a site at Wheatley (down Wheatley Hall Road) and one down Carr Hill in Balby; there's not much in Bentley apart from nutters :OhYes:
