Yes and No.

It is apparently "Young Sam Langford" not "a young Sam Langford". It's a great photo, really expressive face. He does look a little (facially) like Sam Langford, too but I don't believe it his him due to the age of the photo (I believe it to be 20s or 30s).

I know the source of the original photo, it's definitely "Young" Sam Langford. I often wonder about the origin of a lot of those names, there's a ton of "young" etc

Yes, it's a strange one. Looks quite like Langford but, as you say, the photo doesn't look to be the right vintage.
