The fights at this stage of any card are gonna be shite. And I do mean any card. It's only the top 3 or so fights on any bill that are gonna be worth a damn. Obviously that isn't the case with tonights bill but moaning about the fights that are going on right now is pretty daft.squared circle wrote:I was live at froch Kessler so no idea what they did. We should be getting analysis etc in between every round for money we have paid.
I'm more pissed off with quality of fights at minute tbh!!
No worries Neil; I've not seen Malinga box and think he's to box Hall now.Neil Gee wrote:Cheers palooka!palooka wrote:Yusi Malinga was the mandatory for Jamie's title
I appreciate that at late notice they aren't gonna get him in an amazing fight. For some reason whenever there are injuries pullouts or fights made at really late notice tho you just seem to ignore it and condemn it as a load of shite as if the matchmakers had months to make a big fight. You can slag the Quigg fight off and I'd agree. But I think the fights right down the bill here have a few reasons for being the way they are. If it's a choice between McDonnell not fighting on the bill or having a runout against a journeyman then I'd take the latter.columbo wrote:
Cmon James. You know this is grim viewing. Jamie McDonnell is a former world champion *by default* so should of been in a far better fight than that and this guy Smith is in with which is an eliminator is terrible aswell.
I'm pretty sure they could of gotten better opponents than this. Im not talking world title fights or even the best guys in the division but this truely crap.jameswilson wrote:I appreciate that at late notice they aren't gonna get him in an amazing fight. I'd rather have less rubbish and not have to pay for itjameswilson wrote:I appreciate that at late notice they aren't gonna get him in an amazing fight. Hearn did say though that the undercard had to be outrageous for this to be PPV, I think it is but for the opposite reason..jameswilson wrote:I appreciate that at late notice they aren't gonna get him in an amazing fight. Yeah, Smith is showing what an elite operator he is tonight.Naandrew wrote:Juanma Lopez wiped this guy out in when he was at superbantam

I looked at both Hall & Malinga's boxrec and neither of them have a record as good as J's.palooka wrote:I've not seen Malinga box and think he's to box Hall now.Neil Gee wrote:palooka wrote:Yusi Malinga was the mandatory for Jamie's title
