I don't get why he deserves more.[/quote

Because he brings more than 15% worth of attention to the table. He played a huge part in the first bout been so entertaining.

I can appreciate that you're a friend and big supporter of Froch; do you have any balanced view of Groves or because Froch 'hates' him do you have to too?

Do you really believe that Groves is afraid of Froch and is trying to get out of a rematch?

He may bring more than 15% of the ATTENTION but what else does he bring with him?
A loss to Froch in the first fight
No titles
And an attitude of entitlement

The ruling body has said he is entitled to a rematch as the stoppage was unjust, Groves was jobbed - the crowd knew it and the majority of viewers knew it.

And a rematch is exactly what he has got....

So...take it.

All he ever wanted was the rematch....... ITS THERE!! take take take it!!!

IF he wins (i don't think he will) then he can push on.

I can appreciate you dislike Froch, but why would you support Groves ?

Do you really believe Froch is scared of anyone, and do you really believe Groves only wants the rematch? (nothing to do with money)

I did feel that the only thing groves wanted was the rematch ( but I was wrong)
Groves is greedy and under it all it was all about the money
I would not be surprised the reason he split with Adam Booth was over money as well..
I did like groves but now I hope the cobra knocks him out this time

Groves is bringing more than 15% of the interest?

I'm sure he will earn massive money for any vacant title tilt if Froch drops the belt then...

Froch will earn big money if his next fight is against Groves or not. The same can't be said of Groves.

Just get it signed already. I couldn't care less how much or little either earns.

Froch is coming to the end of his career & is rightly fussy on the terms.this fight is for the public.
I think groves believes he should be champion & offering froch 25%.

I'd like to know the options because he has been Offerd a great deal for a challenger!!

A professional fighter fights for money - Groves would be a mug if he boxed for less than he could get. I think that Groves feels hard done by and would be confident in a rematch - his camp was more unsettled than Carls.

Froch has been a very good champion but has a big ego and is pretty humorless ; he's a British great.

Groves is a better boxer and the better fighter, Froch is past his peak and as tough as he is I don't think all the hammer he's taken will do him any favours in the future.

Do you work for less than the going rate or do you try to get the best pay that you can?

if i was Groves i'd try to team up with a different promoter to get the fight away from eddie hearn ,in the last fight the ref has been proven to be either incompetent or corrupt as the IBF ordering a rematch proves plus they said the ref was wrong to stop the fight and the 2 judges only had groves up by around .

he can only expect the same bias again on a hearn show .

People seem to be so much more lenient towards George than Carl. If this was the other way round I get the feeling Froch would be lambasted for not snapping at the re-match whatever the deal. It isn't like he's going to be fighting for pittance. He harped on and on about the rematch that he was entitled to saying the belts were "rightfully his" and now he's been given the chance to beat Froch and take a step further to becoming a superstar earning big bucks yet he wants more!

15% is a joke offer i think ,plus if there's option on his next few fights i guess groves doesn't want to sign himself away .

There may be other promoters that would put a rematch on and pay Groves more, Hearn is Frochs man.

I wouldn't personally say it's a joke as it would be the same for any other challenger ranked 6th. Fair enough the stoppage was harsh but it did look like Froch was coming back into the fight strongly so George's comment about the belts being "rightfully his" when he was on the decline is bollocks. Froch is champion, Froch has a stoppage win over him, take the fight, beat him if he's so confident, move on, earn big money. Simple.

Also if he'd said from the start that he of course wants the re-match but only if the money is right then fair play but instead he's forced the matter, accused Froch of running scared and then appeals when he gets what we thought he wanted, a chance to avenge his only defeat.

He's trying to get a better rate of pay for the job at hand - Groves knows from the first fight that defeat can be pulled from the jaws of victory (by a ref having a bad night).

i understand that groves now can't scream that he's being side stepped but i do think he should get at least 25/30 % of the purse ,i'm sure bruno got more than 15% fight lennox as they were both big draws even thou lewis had the belt .
and in this rematch i think people are there to see groves now more than froch weather it's to see him get chinned or to see a new champion being born.

This is the exactly same crazy mentality that Groves has. Defeat wasn't "pulled from the jaws of victory". You're saying that as if they were just exchanging jabs and all of a sudden Foster jumped in and gifted Froch the win. From round 7 Froch started to get back into it and leading up to the stoppage landed 5 or 6 hard unanswered shots. I'm not saying it should have been stopped but I genuinely think it was only seconds away from a genuine stoppage. This of course is just my opinion, others see it different which is fine, but nobody will ever know who would have gone on to win that fight so by no means did George have defeat pulled from the jaws of victory.

Then I hope that Groves finds another way of throwing sand into the vaseline, if only to irritate Hearn - who is the absolute embodiment of entitlement.

i could see this going to purse bids if hearn doesn't offer more ,and hearn wouldn't want someone else promoting this show
