The plot thickings :-?
That strongly suggests the email with the attachment did come from Morrison Boxing to Fwank's office. Not in a million years will Fwank think Ricky wrote that letter, but somebody has presented an open goal and Fwank's hammered the ball into the back of the net.

This must be disastrous for team Burns. Ricky must have serious doubts about his relationship with his manager, what with Fwank claiming that Alex offered to stop supporting Ricky's legal battle, to save his own neck. Not long to go until Ricky faces a very difficult opponent, he really doesn't need this crap floating around him. What the hell is a phoney email like that doing being sent from his manager's office ?

Pretty shocking stuff. I'm a Ricky Burns fan and really hope (and would be amazed) if the quotes attributed to him were true. I'm sure everyone, even people who aren't fans of Burns wouldn't wish all this on him assuming he has had his signature forged.

Billy is online hes just reading which is understandable as this is insane! Morrison has scored a major OG and even when Ricky makes a play FW just runs rings around them all! give the guy his credit hes a genius when it comes to the situations and unlike Hearn, Morrison etc he knows how to conduct an interview and put it across well! I fear for Rickys career if he doesnt punt Alex unfortunetly.

Summary.

George Galloway has stuck his neck into the dispute between Fwank and Burns/Morrison. I think it is to do with the alleged part unpaid purse for the Mitchell fight story, which the Scottish sun published 2 weeks ago. Fwank has threatened the paper with legal action, and they backed down and apologised.
George Galloway announced Fwank hadn't replied to him, therefore George would raise the issue in the house of commons next week.
Frank came out punching today, with his response to Galloway, published on his website, which includes bombshell emails of a racist nature apparently from Morrison, and an unbelievable one attributed to Ricky Burns.
Frank has given a youtube interview too, explaining the context to an 8 month legal battle between himself and Morrison.
Matters continue to escalate with both sides posting updates and comments on social media by the hour.

Interesting stuff !!!

Do you thinks this will make front pages up here north of the border tomorrow Jamie or resigned to stay on the forums :??

I think caution will win the day - this is a cauldron of potential lawsuits. George Galloway has just said he's received notice of legal action from Fwank's solicitors, and will say no more in court, BUT will speak in parliament. For those who may not know, as an MP he will be protected by parliamentary priviledge - you can say what you like in the house of commons and can't get done for it. Fwank has baited him, challenging George to step outside of the commons and say it - that way Fwank can take legal action.

There is a petition going on change.org to publicly shame Fwank into paying Ricky the £160k allegedly owed. As far as I can see, George has offered to raise this issue in the house of commons. He tweeted something to the effect that the government is having to do the job of the board of control.

I am going to look out for what George has to say in the house of commons next week. He can say whatever he wants and get away with it. A statement on the unpaid money would certainly draw massive attention to this dispute.

Bigot is a term spewed by former PM Gordon Brown.

It is borne of lazy stereotyping.

Islam can be criticised as much as Catholicism can be criticised.

I wouldn't call anyone Catholophobic or racist for criticising aspects of Catholicism :bag:
Moaning about being amongst 'A crowd of smelly blacks' is not bigotry? Then feck knows what is.

Ricky's just tweeted a pic of the signature in the letter with some gloves he's signed showing the complete difference between the two.

It's a total non-scandal on Ricky's part, other than being in business with a seemingly braindead oaf (Morrison)

On Morrisons Twitter feed a few pages back, he claims to have been reading a book one day ago. The book is "Lord of the rings" and was mainly about Warren. It was hugely libelous and got pulped. It's a good read, I have a copy somewhere.

One thing that is lost on me a bit is the apparent reverence, or perception of, regarding Morrison. To me, an armchair fan, he's a long time minor manager promoter in the British boxing scene. He occasionally has a British champ but - Ricky aside - that's about it. The way Fwank talks about him, you'd think it was Don Corleone or something.
I think Morrison has always been associated with gangland Glasgow. His name pops up a lot in Arthur Thompsons story and Paul Ferris has all but named him a few times for asking him to slash Gary Jacobs.

None of this is doing Ricky any good in a build up to a defining fight for him with two weeks to go, Galloway would've done best keeping his beak out and if 160K is owed to Ricky he/his management need to pursue a legal claim for that a petition won't change anything.

I seem to remember when Burns turned sides,Morrison and Hearn told him not to worry about any legal issues and conentrate on the boxing so why the hell was Morrison having Ricky pose with him with blank cheques a few weeks before one of the biggest fights of his career

At the risk of asking a dumb question, you mean the former welterweight boxer Gary Jacobs ?

I once bought it and read it, not sure if I still have it or not. Probably best not go into much detail, the only thing I can recall that Fwank would really get cheesed off about was the book's section on a court case, where the other side's legal team was trying to bring aspects of his personal life into the equation. They were not relevant to whatever the case was about, as I recall it was an attempt to cause him grief in his private life.

Yes. Ferris was asked to slash him to end his career.
